MET Institute of Pharmacy (Diploma) celebrated Teachers’ Day on 7 September 2026 organised by the students. The celebration was a heartfelt tribute to the teachers who guide, motivate and inspire them throughout their journey.

As part of the celebration, students presented a short act/skit portraying the different ways in which teachers influence students’ lives. Through their performance, students beautifully conveyed how a teacher can be a mentor, motivator, guide and role model, leaving a lasting impact that extends well beyond the classroom.

On the occasion, Dr. Suryakant Bhosale, Principal, MET Institute of Pharmacy (Diploma), addressed the students and appreciated their efforts in organising the celebration. His words added significance to the occasion and encouraged students to value the guidance and contribution of their teachers.

The celebration concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony, bringing teachers and students together in a warm moment of togetherness and celebration.

MET Institute of Pharmacy (Diploma) organised Jal Sandharan Din (State Water Conservation Day) on 21st August 2026, commemorated on the birth anniversary of Late Shri Sudhakarrao Naik, former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, in recognition of his significant contribution to water conservation and watershed development in the state. The occasion provided an opportunity for students to understand the importance of conserving natural resources and contributing towards a sustainable future.

As part of the observance, an awareness activity was conducted on the theme “Save Soil. Save Water. Secure Tomorrow.” Students were sensitized to critical issues such as water scarcity, rainwater harvesting, prevention of water wastage and responsible water usage. An Essay Competition was also organised on topics including Importance of Water Conservation, Water is Life, Measures for Water Conservation, and Water Budget – Use of Water at Home, encouraging students to share their perspectives and practical ideas for sustainable water management.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and successfully created greater awareness about the need for responsible water consumption. Through such initiatives, MET Institute of Pharmacy (Diploma) continues to encourage students to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives and become responsible citizens who actively contribute towards water conservation and environmental well-being.

MET Institute of Pharmacy (Diploma) organised an Anti-Ragging Pledge Programme on 19th August 2026 to create awareness about the harmful impact of ragging and reinforce the importance of a safe, respectful and supportive campus environment.

Students and faculty members came together to take the Anti-Ragging Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to a ragging-free campus and a culture built on dignity, equality, discipline and mutual respect. Students were also sensitised about the importance of reporting any incident of ragging to the appropriate authorities.

The programme reinforced MET Institute of Pharmacy’s zero-tolerance approach towards ragging and encouraged students to uphold responsible behaviour, friendship and respect, contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
