A community needs many people to help it to function well. It is important for all of us to know the ways in which community helpers make each of our lives better. It helps us appreciate their role in the society. With an aim of stimulating a child’s imagination and enhancing their social development skills, GSBB Saki Vihar celebrated 'Community Helpers Day' in the school premises. Each child dressed up like a community helper and spoke about his/her role. As a mark of respect, various community helpers like, driver, police inspector, nurse etc were called to school and felicitated by our students.

Traditionally
Ganesh idols made of Plaster of Paris are immersed in water during this festival, which pollutes the water. Many people are now aware of the importance of using eco-friendly Ganesh idols.
Eco-friendly Ganesh idols are made from paper pulp, soil, natural colours and natural gums which dissolves easily in the water.

Here at GSBB Saki Vihar, our children celebrated Eco friendly Ganesh Idol immersion in school premises.
SAVE WATER SAVE FUTURE.
