Doc shared that his coping mechanism to deal with what he saw in hospital at the height of the pandemic was to transmute it into free verse poems, now published in a book, “Untitled: Stories of Catharsis” ( available on Amazon).

How to work together as a virtual team? How to motivate and support one another?

Building team spirit is an essential employability pre-requisite for our trainee interns. They are getting ready to join a WFH workforce or a physical office. Or being productive in whatever way that aligns best with their core strengths and interests.

It’s amazing how our neurodiverse students have bonded together and learnt these valuable skills on the Skill Shakti virtual platform all through the pandemic! We run life and career building skills, and executive functioning skills classes daily M-F, 9am-1pm in a fun, inclusive peer community of adults with neurodiversity.

Our learners always AMAZE us with their trenchant vision. Ramnath wants to visit Parliament soon, get sworn in and ensure smoother business in the House. ( he’s an avid watcher of Parliament news on TV.)

In Skill Shakti’s daily online skill building sessions for adults with neurodiversity, we teach goal-setting, vision boarding and self-advocacy among other things, in a fun, inclusive community.

On Teacher’s Day September 5, 2021, we have to say that being a teacher is to be an eternal learner.

Every day we learn new things in our Skill Shakti online sessions M-F, where we skill adults with neurodiversity for life & career skills in a fun, peer community.

This Friday, we were lead by legal counsel Unnati Ghia through a great discussion of our fundamental rights as citizens. And while learning about the right to dignity, we hit upon its essence- through our amazingly perceptive, empathetic and inclusive students!

Thank you for being the best teachers ever, about what really matters in life!
