The Continuing Professional Development program on 26/01/2026 topic “From Wheezing to Wellness: Advanced Nursing Care for Common Respiratory Conditions” was successfully conducted at Kurla Bhabha Hospital, Kurla, with 174participants. Expert sessions by distinguished nursing professionals made the program highly informative and engaging.The CPD received excellent feedback from participants and special appreciation from the observer. A meaningful academic initiative strengthening evidence-based nursing practice.

Play School and Senior Kindergarten students of Prangan Amulakh International School visited our college nursing laboratories and enjoyed an engaging, fun-filled learning experience. The young learners explored basic health concepts through interactive demonstrations, sparking curiosity and joy.

A delightful step towards early awareness and experiential learning

CPD on “Strengthening HIV/AIDS Care: Advances, Awareness & Community Nursing Interventions” was successfully held on 13th Dec 2025 at SMES Smt. Sunanda Pravin Gambhirchand College of Nursing, Matunga with 250 participants. Insightful sessions by Mrs. Shilpa Shettigar, Mrs. Nikhita Logade, Mrs. Tejasvi Pavaskar, Mrs. Swati Patil & Ms. Sonam Gupta. Honored by Dr. Shine Athinilkunnathil (MNC Observer) who appreciated the team for an excellent programme.

Conducted session on Constitution Day in India was organized on 4th December 2025 by Adv. Rushikesh Gamare and Associates, engaging 110 students from 1st & 2nd Year B.Sc. Nursing and 1st Year ANM. The program highlighted the values and spirit of the Indian Constitution.

CPD on “Empowering Nurses for Excellence in Child Health Care” was successfully conducted on 04/12/2025 at Bandra Bhabha Hospital, Kurla, with a total of 164 participants.

Esteemed speakers included Mrs. Shilpa Shettigar, Mrs. Diana Fernandes, Mrs. Nikhita Logade, Mrs. Neshwari Fernando, and Mrs. Greeshma Minesh. The session was observed by Mr. Vishram Kulkarni and received excellent participation and feedback from all attendees.

On 24th and 25th November 2025, the Placement Cell organized Life Skills and Employability Sessions in collaboration with GTT Foundation.Ms. Sanchi Mate was the resource person for the session. A total of 36 final year B.Sc. Nursing students benefited from this enriching experience.

Our CPD on “Beyond the Birth Process: Innovations Driving Maternal Well-Being” was successfully held on 24/11/2025 with 210 participants.

5th-semester B.Sc.Nursing students visited the Sewage Treatment Plant, Colaba on 14/11/2025.Mr. Sanket Jagtap explained all objectives in detail, and Mr. Vivek Rane guided the students through the plant, offering great insights into its functioning. A truly informative and enriching visit!

Celebrated World Diabetes Day – 14/11/2025. At the community and UPH Centre Chota Sion, our students shared awareness with heart—foot care demos, glucose checks, a meaningful role play, and a wellness pledge.Grateful for the 30–35 community members who joined us on this journey toward better health.
