All through these Nine days we worshipped Devi in her various forms to seek her blessings .
The Navaratri festival signifies the battle between Mahishasura and Devi Durga, culminating in 'VijayaDasami' a celebration of his ultimate defeat by devi Durga. Dussera also marks the triumph of Rama, an avatar of Vishnu, over demon Ravana, who abducted devi Sita.
It signifies victory of good over evil.

In the same way we must end our vices like anger, hate, greed and inculcate virtues like peace, love, respect within us.

🌺 ॐकार गणेश - पुष्प सहावे🌺
गजवदना तुज नमो||
हे लंबोदर पाशांकुशधर,

सकल सुखदायक तुज नमो||

Lord Shri Gajavadana:
Who has a face of Gaja (elephant),
Who has a pot belly to digest all good and bad experiences,
Who carries Pasha (noose) & Ankusha to destroy the evil,
To whom all deities, humans and sages worship,
Who is the leader of Ganas and blesses all with wisdom,
Who grants all wishes of his devotees and brings prosperity,
We prostrate to such supreme Lord Gajavadana.

Mahaganapathim is a carnatic song composed by Muthuswami Diksh*tar.

Who is worshipped by great sage Vasishta, the Vamadevas,
Who is the son of Lord Shiva,
Who is praised by Guruguha ( Shri Muthuswami Diksh*tar) and shine with the brilliance of crores of cupids, we whole heartedly pray and meditate upon the Supreme Lord Mahaganapati.

Lord Ganesha:
Who is Lord Vishnu's nephew, the remover of all obstacle, who vanquishes ill fate and blesses all; to that Lord Ganesha, we sing praises. For those who worship Lord Ganesha, all obstacles disappear.

Shri Ganesha -
Who anchors Mouse ( ie controls ego of his devotees),
Who relishes 'Modaka',
Who has large ears to keenly listen to needs of all his bhaktas,
Who wears a long sacred thread,
Who is short in stature,
Who is the Son of Shri Maheshwara (Lord Shiva).
We prostrate at the feet of Shri Vighna Vinayaka, the remover of the obstacles of his devotees.
