This is to inform you that the Mumbai School of Economics Alumni Association (MSEPP) is organising an online condolence meeting in memory of Prof. Vikas Chitre on Sunday, 10 May 2026, from 7:00 PM onwards.

Prof. Chitre was an outstanding teacher, research scholar, and mentor whose contributions to Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics, and policy making shaped generations of students and researchers. He served as Professor and Director of the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics in Pune, and as Director and President of the Indian School of Political Economy.
