In a field like mine, the importance of your rank in an exam is minimal. What really matters is the result that declares - pass or fail. And I know many who study only to get the bare minimum marks just to pass an exam. I on the other hand always study to gain knowledge and carry it along with me for the years to come, and not just to pass an exam. This is what I advise others as well. And trust me when I say this, not many agree with me.

I appeared for my Chief Mate exams in 2017-18, putting forth my utmost effort, and was rewarded by the Almighty, securing the first rank nationwide in both the exams. From countless hours of rigorous study to numerous sacrifices along the way, this journey has been a symphony of hard work and passion. Navigating the vast sea of knowledge, each lesson is a stepping stone towards the pinnacle of success.

This isn't just a personal achievement; it's a testament to resilience and dedication; a beacon, a source of inspiration for those who dare to dream big; a responsibility to carry the torch of knowledge, to inspire, and to contribute meaningfully to our maritime community. It's a reminder that the pursuit of knowledge knows no boundaries, and when passion meets hard work, anything and everything is possible. It's not just about answering questions; it's about questioning answers.

Expressing profound gratitude to my mentors, faculty members at MMTI and others who played a crucial role in this odyssey.

Congratulations on reaching the remarkable milestone of 25 years and thank you for the honour and recognition bestowed upon me through these trophies, which unfortunately I could not collect personally. Your dedication to education and excellence has positively impacted countless lives, one of which is mine.

Today, I was felicitated by Mumbai Maritime Training Institute (MMTI) for my feat at the MMD examinations held in 2017 and 2018. Since the back story is important I will not skip that.

It was the month of November 2017. I had just appeared for my Chief Mate Phase 1 exams and was attending classes for Phase 2, the second half of the journey to becoming a Chief Officer. It was just a normal evening. I attended the class and left the institute to head back home. But that day I happened to reach the hospital instead. I stopped my bike on a road with fine gravel and as I put my left leg down, it unfortunately slipped and my bike broke my femur into two. My batchmates rushed me to the hospital and at that moment, my only fear was months passed by. I attended the next batch and appeared for the Phase 2 exams, still using crutches. The Phase 2 results were out the next month and I surprised myself again by repeating what I did in Phase 1. This time it was more special as I had put my heart and soul into preparing for the exam. And God rewarded me in the best way possible.



The exams I mentioned above were conducted in 2017 and 2018 respectively. MMTI recently started felicitating candidates for such achievements by rewarding them with a certificate along with a cash prize and I was rewarded today. I felt elated as a student receiving this award from MMTI's Principal, Capt. C.L. Dubey and the Director, Capt. O.P. Yadav.

A final message to all who stumble in life or face challenges - Challenges make us stronger. We may not realise it before, but only when we persevere and overcome these challenges is when we see that they have helped us achieve more than we ever dreamed of achieving.

Without taking names, a big thank you to all who have been there for me during my difficult times.

Feels good to this after a long time. Finally signed off after spending 4 months at sea and 2 months at a dry dock.

These donations that i make are from the money i receive by selling my notes. Inspite of knowing this, some people have leaked my notes and also removed the watermarks.

This made me sad but did not discourage me. The orders have reduced but there are still kind people out there who buy the notes even though they can get their hands on the leaked notes.

I thank and appreciate all you people who have ordered notes from me in last few months.
