I recently got asked by a close friend - Why do mothers judge other mothers or team up against mothers that do differently - why can’t we all be on one side?
Some points to understand when you feel judged in your parenting.
It helps to understand where they are coming from especially if it is close family/ friends or people that you interact with on a daily basis.
If it does not serve you- let it go with some affirmations that I shared. These are close to my heart and I practice them daily.

Thank you open minded mom, using a picture from your post to write about this topic.

A gentle reminder - it always begins with you.

Only if you are calm, empathetic, forgiving, respectful, gentle and patient with yourself will you be able to extend the same courtesies to your child - you can only give what you have.

It all starts with 🌸 Self-care 🌸

Your baby doesn’t need perfect parenting, they need connection and consistent parenting. For this, the parent should be conscious, mindful, and aware, ergo she should be intouch with herself if she is to be intouch with her baby and fulfill its needs.

Mothers, your body, mind and your nervous system speaks to you .. you just need to listen and then do what makes you calm, regulated and peaceful.

Pregnancy and childbirth are key points in life and are thus life changing but what doesn’t need to change are things that you did prior to keep a healthy state of body and mind. Continue to make time to read, for music or a hobby. Even 30 mins of me-time is relaxing.

“There must be provision for the child to have contact with nature; to understand and appreciate the order, the harmony and the beauty in nature.” - Maria Montessori

‘Environments’ are all those spaces that are imbibed by human beings. A child’s first environment is the womb and therefore the health and welfare of the mother is utmost important. This week we will be focusing on care and well-being of the mother.

Stay tuned for more! 🤰🌸🌿

Fetal psychology is so fascinating. It’s unbelievable how a child’s first thousand years develop his complete personality, his belief systems and his attitude towards life. Did you know all our actions as adults are based on what happened to us in the first 6 years of our life. Staying in a positive mental frame of mind and just understanding and knowing that we re shaping our child s personality by our every thought can bring so much awareness to the way we are in our pregnancy/parenting . This will then reap benefits in secure attachment and feeling of connection with the newborn.

Yesterday’s LIVE session addressed Bonding & Secure Attachment during the prenatal and postnatal period (the recording is up on our feed).

The seeds for bonding are sowed while the baby is in utero. The shoots sprout 🌱 during the baby’s first year of life by way of face to face communication, cuddling, feeding and singing. The baby responds by communicating through cries, coos and giving eye contact back to its primary caregivers.

In the following years, this early communication grows into secure attachments 🌿 with consistent caregiving and responsive relationships. Thus develops a child whose idea of people is naturally good, reliable and trusting.
