“Regardless of age, life-position; or the business we happen to be in; we all represent a brand – our Personal Brand. This Personal Brand can be developed for the advancement of our personal and professional lives.”

With this strong reflection, came the motivation and passion to embark on the Image Consulting journey with her venture “Identity”. Trupti Vaidya Nachane, an alumnus of Air India Modern School (Batch '99) and SCMHRD (Symbiosis), shifted gears 7 years ago from being an Engineer to an Image Consultant and a Personal Brand Coach. She positively influences and enriches the many entities she works with – individuals, corporate and educational institutions alike. As a Life Skills Coach for Kids, she equips them with Social and Emotional Skills, making them personally more effective.
Trupti has been the Former Thane Chapter President – Image Management Professionals Association (IMPA). Recently she was featured in a corporate magazine, CEOInsights. (Article attached in pics)

Amidst the recent tragedy of Air India flight IX - 1344, The Air India family lost two of their skilled pilots, "Sword of Honour" awardee Captain Dipak V Sathe and Captain Akhilesh Kumar, when the flight skid off the runway and broke into two, while landing at Kozhikode Calicut International Airport, late Friday evening. They lost their lives while saving those on board. Pilots often have to make tough and quick decisions while anticipating problematic circumstances and act in split of second or even less to avoid danger.
This incident has brought back memories for Air India Modern School Alumnus (Batch '98), Captain Rohit Shah, of the time his quick thinking and skillful maneuvering saved a SpiceJet fight from a similar fate at the same airport during a rainy August evening in 2017. This incidence was featured in most of the leading newspapers then. (TOI coverage - https://tinyurl.com/y5zr9nuw )
"A life of a pilot is not easy", says Capt Rohit, "we train very hard to become efficient. As Pilots we take complete responsibility of the aircraft, our crew , co-pilot and most importantly the passengers. We are tasked with making difficult decisions in challenging weather conditions. So good judgement and ability to work well under pressure is extremely vital for us."
After acquiring a BHMS degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Karnataka, Rohit turned to flying. With over 8000 Flying hours to his credit since 2012, he is now a commander on Dhc-8-Q400 with SpiceJet, one of the leading Airlines in India. He is, amongst the hundreds, unsung Covid Warriors that have helped fly medical help and cargo during these unprecedented times. Salute!!
We at AAIMS are extremely proud of our Pilot friend and wish him a vast sky of success. Fly High Captain Rohit!

Voluntary and unpaid blood donation by a healthy person was started in the beginning of 2004 by World Health Organisation with the objective of raising awareness of the needy in the society. This year WHO's slogan is "Donate blood and make the world a healthier place. ”
Inspired by his father, Sriram Joshi, an alumnus of Air India Modern School, started donating platelets from February 26, 2014 to this day. Platelets have been donated 144 times and blood 26 times. He is also a Granulocyte donor, this type of donation requires a match with the patient blood type. He is a registered STEM CELL DONOR (also known as Bone Marrow Transplant) all over the world registry. His father and he have been feliciated by TATA Memorial Hospital for their contribution of voluntary blood and platelet donations. Their passionate work towards spreading awareness about blood donation and the zest to urge more people to voluntarily donate blood is inspirational. Shriram has pledged to donate blood for all his Life, he strongly believes donation (organ donation) doesnt need to wait until after we die, we can make a difference even while we live!
We, at AAIMS are extremely proud of our fellow schoolmate and promise to lend a hand to his cause.
Those who wish to join Shriram and his team, or know more about blood donation and how we can do our bit to help the world, especially in troubled times like these, can connect with him at +919819209119 or email him [email protected]
