15 August 2026 marked the 80th Independence Day of our nation, celebrated with immense pride and patriotism at Seth Juggilal Poddar Academy (ICSE).

Students brought the spirit of the day to life through soulful patriotic songs, graceful dances, and inspiring speeches. The Principal’s inspiring words reminded everyone of their duties and responsibilities towards the nation.
A particularly proud moment was the felicitation of the 2026 Board Toppers, honouring their exceptional academic achievements, dedication, and hard work.

At the 17th Edition of the MIMAMSA Educational Conclave – Pune Chapter, S. J. Poddar Academy (ICSE) was honoured with the MIMAMSA School Award for “School with Best Holistic Development Programmes for Students.”

CISCE Zonal Taekwondo Tournament 2026 – A Grand Celebration of Discipline, Determination and Excellence!

The CISCE Zonal Taekwondo Tournament 2026, proudly hosted by Seth Juggilal Poddar Academy on 4th and 5th August 2026, concluded with resounding success, bringing together young martial artists from across the region in a true celebration of sportsmanship and excellence.

The tournament witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 25 CISCE schools, with an impressive 295 students competing across the Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 categories. The event showcased not only exceptional athletic talent but also the core values of Taekwondo—discipline, perseverance, respect, and indomitable spirit.

The seamless coordination and the dedication of the referees and the volunteers contributed immensely to making the tournament a grand success.

The tournament was flawlessly organised by Mr. Jayesh Vella, International Referee and Coach. With the unwavering support and guidance of our respected Principal, Mrs. Rekha Anand, he ensured the seamless ex*****on of a truly memorable sporting event.

Peace Begins with Us: Hiroshima & Nagasaki Day Observance.

On 6 August 2026, the Primary students of Seth Juggilal Poddar Academy (ICSE) observed Hiroshima and Nagasaki Day with reverence and thoughtful reflection. Through creative artwork and peace symbols, the students remembered the tragic events of 1945 and paid tribute to the victims, reaffirming the importance of peace, empathy, and unity.
