P.S.:- When it comes to PMDD, if someone says they are hurting, they mean it. Thank them for trusting you enough to be someone they can confide in, and ask if there's anything you can do to help. Most likely the answer will be no, but the offer is invaluable.😌❤

1. स्वमग्नता किंवा आत्मकेंद्रियता (Autism) ह्या आजराची लक्षणे वयाच्या तिसर्या वर्षापूर्वीच दिसू लागतात.

2. स्वमग्नतेच्‍या रुग्‍णांचा क्रमशः ऱ्हास होत नसला तरी ह्या रोगाचा कायम स्‍वरूपी इलाज अजूनही सापडलेला नाही.

3. संशोधनातून सिद्ध झाले आहे की मुलींपेक्षा मुलांना 5 पटीने जास्त हा आजार होता.

4. स्वमग्न व्यक्ती‍ंमध्ये संगीत, कला, नृत्य, रंगभूमी ह्या विषयी विशेष आकर्षण आणि रुची दिसून येते.

5. वारंवार केलेल्या प्रयोगांमधून सिद्ध झाले आहे की लसीकरणामुळे हा आजर होत नाही.

6. ह्या रुग्णांचा सरासरी मासिक खर्च हा ₹10,000- ₹30,000 असू शकतो.

7. भारत सरकार ने आत्मकेंद्रियता बाधितांसठी "राष्ट्रीय न्यास अधिनियम (1999)" च्या अंतर्गत 'निरामय स्वास्थ्य विमा योजना' सुरु केली आहे.

When we are so used to the world working a certain way it becomes difficult to imagine an alternate way in which one can operate in the world. The world of people on the Autism Spectrum is atypical, and widely misunderstood.

This Autism Awareness Month, let’s pledge to educate ourselves and extend kindness and acceptance towards people with Autism and take it as an opportunity to view the world with a different lens.
