Meet Sumita Mitra. She's the founder of Speakwell English Academy. She started as an entrepreneur by teaching English, making an indelible mark on thousands of children's lives.

Sumita has always had a passion for teaching & education. She won a scholarship in 12th grade, and somehow she completed her studies and ended up getting a degree. She worked her way up through the ranks as Manager, Administrative Manager, Branch Manager, and Export and Deputy export manager over the past 28 years. She's also been teaching on a part-time basis to pursue her passion.

Sumita is spiritually inclined and enjoys helping others. She also likes to take part in community events. As a student, she used to take tuition for underprivileged children as an honorary service. She encouraged them to continue their education so they could get better jobs. They all became well-educated, hard-working members of the community. In online classes, Sumita was asked to teach English only. But since many students there did not know English and had no experience with it, she taught them regularly during the break times in their native languages so they could follow the class.

She taught students from different backgrounds at her own spoken English institute: schoolchildren, college students, and even homemakers. Most housewives were inexperienced in learning English, but they had genuine enthusiasm and interest in the language. However, one day, she asked them why they wished to learn English. The women explained that their husbands arrived late at night and ate without talking to them; they then went straight to sleep without paying attention to their wives needs. So they felt disrespected because they did not know enough English to communicate or converse with teachers in formal settings. Though she has trainers, Sumita took a special interest in these housewives and made them successful at speaking in English.

The software consists of four levels of content that cover Classes 1st to 7th. It offers various features, including audio-video recording, editing and playback. It provides a fun way of learning to read in English by encouraging children to listen to stories, read them, and see their animations. This software has a simple, easy-to-use interface, making it easy for teachers to administer the program and provide student-specific feedback.
