Sharon English High School is a state board (S.S.C.) school located in Mulund, Mumbai. It was founded in 1967 by Mr. K.T. Philip and his wife, Ms. Anna Philip.

It was one of the first English medium schools established in Mulund over 50 years ago. At the heart of the school’s vision is the student. We hope to nurture each student to become confident, competent and creative individuals who will eventually impact society positively. Over the last five decades, the changing landscape of the world around us, has compelled us to hold some values close to our

Bridging hearts across generations 💛

Traditional values taught us discipline, respect, and structure. Conscious parenting invites connection, empathy, and understanding. When we blend the two, something beautiful happens we don’t just guide our children, we truly see and hear them.

Let’s close the gap not with authority alone, but with conversation. Speak with your child, not at them. Listen to their little worlds, validate their feelings, and create a space for communication.

Because strong bonds aren’t built on control they’re built on connection.

We ended our Art in the Library workshop by diving into the world of blue.

Surrounded by books, colors, and objects, children explored not just a color, but a feeling.

Their interpretations were thoughtful, expressive, and full of creativity showing us how differently and beautifully each mind sees the world.

A perfect ending filled with imagination and art.

Junaka Deshpande’s story book NIGHT came alive in a new way for our children of std.2 and 3 in the library today. We listened, we read and then together, we drew. 🌟🎨🫟

We continue to be inspired by and all the wonderful ways in which they show us we can engage children and books.

Summer time in the library, come visit us!
