On 6 April 2023, World Health Day clubbed with Oath taking Ceremony of B.sc Nursing 1st year and GNM 1st year students celebrated in College of Nursing AIMS Sri Muktsar Sahib.
On this occasion Chief Guest Dr Anju Singla, (Civil Surgeon) highlighted the importance of health and how we must take precautions to preserve it.

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar and is considered the holiest month in Islam. It is a time of fasting, prayer, reflection, and charity for Muslims worldwide.
During Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn until sunset, refraining from food, water, and other physical needs. The fast is intended to increase empathy for the less fortunate and to cultivate spiritual discipline and self-control.
Muslims also engage in increased prayer and religious observance during Ramadan, including recitation of the Quran, attending nightly prayers known as Taraweeh, and offering voluntary prayers throughout the day.
Charity is also emphasized during Ramadan, with Muslims encouraged to give generously to those in need. It is also a time for community and family gatherings, with many Muslims breaking their fasts together in large meals known as iftars.The month of Ramadan ends with the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, a festive occasion where Muslims gather to offer special prayers, exchange gifts, and share meals with family and friends.
Overall, Ramadan is a time of spiritual renewal, increased devotion, and community building for Muslims worldwide.
