Mukkam Muslim Orphanage This is the official page of Mukkam Muslim Orphanage Committee (Regd) Mukkam Muslim Orphanage was established in 1956 admitting 22 orphans.

It has now taken a shape of university where about 7000 students are pursuing their education. Among 7000 students more than 1000 students are orphans and poor children who are provided food, clothes, accommodation, education, medical treatment and study material at free of cost. d Mukkam Muslim Orphanage two national awards one in 1982 by Dr Giani Zail Sing and the other in 2008 by Mrs Sonia Gandhi. MMO is also a recipient of Rajiv Gandhi Global Excellence Award-2012. Mukkam Muslim Orphanage has recently produced a gem named Mohammed Ali Shihab who has recently cleared the civil services Examination and become an IAS Officer. Orphans boys and girls who are deprived of both parents and guardians are offered a permanent house, marriage expenses and jobs at our campus.
