40% weightage for class +2 mark & 60% for aptitude test
IIT-JEE & AIEEE replaced from 2012

*In a big shok to students who r preparing 4 iit-jee joining coaching centers and joining dummy schools 4 their class 12. HRD ministry has announced that COMMON APTITUDE-CUM-ADVANCED KNOWLEDGE TEST will replace IIT-JEE and AIEEE in 2013 and bigger shock is that 40% weightage is give to class +2 marks
The NIT counsil amd IIT have approved this proposal and are going to make a formal announcement at a meeting of the Joint Admission Board(JAB) on feb 18

*15 IITs, 30 NITs, 4 IIITs, IISERs and few deemed universities will be having a common enginearing entrance test from 2013
