SPN Collegiate School Students Showcase Excellence with High Percentage in Class 12th PSEB Results

The students of Class 12th at Swami Premanand Collegiate School, Mukerian, have showcased noteworthy ex*****on of hard work by achieving praiseworthy results in PSEB Examinations. Vice Principal Dr. Arun Kumar stated that Simranjeet Kaur secured first place in the school with 95.6% marks, while Navroop Kaur and Amandeep Kaur obtained second place with 93.6% marks. Vikas Kalsi attained third place with 91.2% marks. He further mentioned that the admission process for 11th and 12th classes has already commenced. Interested candidates can register soon to avail various scholarships and other benefits. The campus, equipped with Wi-Fi facilities, provides modern labs, libraries, and many other amenities. Additionally, coaching classes for competitive exams are also offered free of cost by experienced professors. The college managing committee and Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma expressed their happiness and congratulated faculty members and all the students on their remarkable success.

*SPN Collegiate School Orientation Program: Session 2024-2025*

An orientation program was organized for the students of S.P.N. Collegiate School. Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma participated as the chief guest in this program. He formally welcomed the students on behalf of the college on the first day of the 2024-25 session. He stated that the collegiate school primarily focuses on shaping students into good human beings and successful professionals through strategic teaching of both theoretical and practical aspects during education. Many students of the collegiate school, who have completed their education from our college and school, are now working in prestigious organizations in the country and abroad. They also encouraged current students to strive for similar success. The new students of the session were acquainted with the necessary rules of the collegiate school and the modern facilities available here, including the convenience of Chemistry, Physics, Biology labs, and a digital library. It is noteworthy that admissions for the 11th and 12th grades have begun. Scholarships are being provided for merit holders and students in sports or other special categories. To know the various facilities available in the campus, visit of students to know their campus was conducted by the college staff. All students were present along with the group of collegiate school staff on this occasion.

Under the able guidance of director, Dr. Sameer Sharma, a faculty development program was organized on “Transforming Education: Unveiling the impact of India's National Education Policy 2020 on School Education”.
The school in-charge, Dr.Deepika Sharma delivered an enlightening talk indicating that the policy would bring comprehensive changes in the educational system, focusing on areas such as curriculum, pedagogy, assessment and teacher training. The policy would emphasize on holistic and multidisciplinary approach to learning, promoting critical thinking, creativity and problem solving skills among students. Additionally, it would emphasize the use of technology in education and would aim to bridge the digital divide among students. Hopefully, NEP has potential to transform school education by making it more inclusive, relevant and learner-centric.

SPN COLLEGIATE SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL ORGANIZED FRESHERS PARTY “AAGAZ 2023”.
The school authorities ensured a warm and welcoming atmosphere by decorating the venue with colorful banners, flowers and posters. The party was attended by both new students and senior students, creating an atmosphere of inclusivity and warmth. To help new students get acquainted with their peers, various ice-breaker activities were organized. These activities included team-building games, talent showcases and interactive sessions. These initiatives encouraged students to interact and form new friendships. The event featured a series of performances by both new and senior students. These included dance performances, musical acts, comedy acts and drama skits, showcasing the diverse talents within the school community. The director of the school, Dr. Sameer Sharma introduced Mentorship Program during the event to provide additional support to new students. Senior students were paired with freshers to guide and assist them throughout their initial months in school. This initiative aimed to create a sense of mentorship and foster a smooth transition for new students. “BADGE CEREMONY” was also performed to honour the class representatives and to develop a sense of responsibility among them. Additionally, prizes were distributed to recognize the outstanding performances and active participation. Meritorious students of previous academic year were awarded with certificates. The school authorities organized a buffet of refreshments for all attendees. These incentives added an element of excitement and motivation among the students. The director of the school, Dr. Sameer Sharma stated that such events allow students to connect, build relationships and feel a sense of belonging within the school community. The in-charge of school, Dr. Deepika Sharma acknowledged the efforts put forth by the organizers, teachers, staff and student volunteers who were instrumental in ensuring the success of the event. The conduct of the Freshers Party has demonstrated the commitment to create a positive and inclusive environment for new students.
