Your own IQRA PUBLIC SCHOOL is the product of such a thinking which made its modest beginning years ago in 1990 and by God's grace. We have made a long journey to reach to this stage. Children are graceful gifts of God. The hopes of their parents, the centre of their attraction and aspiration, the invaluable assets of a better future of the nation and the inheritors of the great tradition a faith we feel proud to associate ourselves with. No wonder, the upbringing of children in the best possible way is the prime duty of all responsiable parents for which we are accountable not only in this material world but also to Allah in the life hereafter.
The fundamental fault of the Modem Education Systetm is that it fails to fulfill the basic purpose of education. Education has become merely a tool of material acquisition setting aside its nobler objectives as we find in too much emphasis on Job-oriented education. Moral values no more of the part of the curriculum, In the name of modernity and fashion, obscenity and immorality have become the order of the day tn the modern educational institutions. As a result, the new generation that the system is producing is devoid of any serious goal of life. It has become self-centred, pleasure seeker, light-heartedted and egomeniac, 'the moto of this 'lost generatien is 'Eat drink and be merry'. Can we, as Muslims,aceept things as tlhey are?
This vacuum can filled by INSTITUTION which rather than creating an artificial divide bettween Deeni(Religious) and Duniaw(Modern) education have a broader view of education and make effort t0 keep pace with time without ignoring the very purpose of education. Such iinstitution will give rise to a kind of education which will focus more on purpose of liFe than material needs and will be based on such mobler and pious aims as creation 'awareness' of God and 'awareness of self' as, well. Such an institution will not treat educatlon as an industry and students as the products of the industry and create an atmosphere where chiidren evolve into responsiable, God-fearing, dynamic and balanced ,individuals.
