Life Skills Academy Life Skills Academy offers courses in Art, Sculpture, Drama, Dance, Hair and Make up, Conversational English and Konkani

Life Skills Academy starts 21 September 2015. It's in a fabulous old Goan house in Nachinola. We're offering several courses:
- Raj Dutt teaches Speech and Drama, starting at age 8 and Communications Skills for adults, both leading to the Trinity College of London exam next year.
- Francis Desousa teaches Art and Composition and Creative Art and Design starting at age 6.

- Verodina Desousa holds sculpture and pottery workshops from November.
- Jayashree Mundkur runs workshops in Mohiniattam from November.
- Ishrat Mookerjee trains students in personal as well as professional make up in November.
- Kiran Rao teaches hair cutting next January.
- Maria Luisa Valdares teaches Conversational English and Berta Monserrat teaches Conversational Konkani

Art: Introduction to Drawing – This workshop will let you explore your creativity while introducing you to the basics of drawing. 15 February to 28 March 2016. Mondays and Thursdays, 4 to 5pm. Last date for registration: 11 February 2016

Art: Introduction to Calligraphy - Learn the art of beautiful handwriting. 15 February to 28 March 2016. Mondays and Thursdays, 5 to 6pm. Last date for registration: 11 February 2016

Pottery: Raku Workshop – Learn Raku, an ancient technique, where you will make pottery and see the dazzling effects of the firing on your creations. 17 to 20 February 2016. Last date for registration: 13 February 2016

Drama: Using Body and Voice in Performance – Learn to use the basic actor’s tools through games and exercises. 12 February to 23 March 2016. Wednesdays and Fridays, 4 to 5pm. Last date for registration: 11 February 2016

Language: Conversational Konkani – 10 lessons and you will be comfortable with the language. 15 February to 7 March 2016. Last date for registration: 10 February 2016

Life Skills Academy introduces a series of short workshops for Adults, starting February 2016. These Workshops will be held for 2 hours a session over 12 sessions. No previous experience required. Call 8308327100 for more details.

Francis Desousa will be running a series of workshops in Art for adults:

Workshop 2. Introduction to mediums (soft pastels, acrylics, water colour, pen and ink)
Workshop 3. Introduction to Collage

Rajyashree Dutt will be running a series of workshops in Drama for adults.
