On 12 May 2026, we celebrated International Nurses Day with great enthusiasm and respect. The day was dedicated to honoring the valuable contributions of nurses and paying tribute to the founder of modern nursing, Florence Nightingale on her birthday.

This year’s theme was “Our Nurses, Our Future. Empowered Nurses Save Lives.” The program began with a warm welcome by the students and faculty members. Students from different classes, actively participated in various activities organized for the occasion.

The Quiz Competition was the highlight of the show in which students participated with great excitement and confidence. Team “Life Saviours” comprising students from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Year GNM secured the winning position. Along with that several other competitions including poster making, rangoli making, poetry recitation and an elocution round were also organized during the event.

The elocution was conducted on the topic “The Role of Nurses in Road Accident Situations” during which students delivered short speeches on the spot highlighting the importance of nurses in emergency care and public health services. The Nursing faculty members appreciated and encouraged all participants for their excellent performance and enthusiasm.

The celebration also included the administration of the Nursing Pledge, where students pledged to serve humanity with dedication, compassion and professionalism. Cultural performances such as singing and dance added joy and energy to the event, and the audience highly appreciated the students’ talent and confidence.

The Principal, appreciated the efforts of all the students and encouraged them to continue serving society with honesty, care and dedication. The celebration concluded with a message promoting the spirit of Nurses Week and recognizing the selfless service of nurses toward humanity.

During the group presentation week, 1st, 2nd and 3rd year GNM students presented truly impressive and thoughtfully executed projects. Each display reflected deep insight, creativity and remarkable attention to detail. The presenters spoke confidently, explaining their topics with clarity and depth while staying true to the objectives of their assignments. The management carefully reviewed all the project and the teachers offered valuable feedback and appreciation. Overall, it was a highly enriching and inspiring day filled with learning.

Can never get over this day where on one hand, we celebrated the journey of our seniors, whose guidance and presence have shaped this institution.
On the other, we open our arms to freshers, who bring new energy, dreams and aspirations. CSM is proud of both it’s alumni as well as it’s current students 🙌🏼

And the day is finally here! Our Fresher’s and Farewell party 2026 was an absolute blast 💥 The day was full of laughter, joy, emotions and a feeling of unity! Cultural performances, music and dance added a lot of fun to the occasion, while moments of laughter were balanced with emotional goodbyes. The event beautifully symbolized the cycle of beginnings and endings, leaving everyone with cherished memories.

The Charanjit Singh Memorial Annual Sports Day, 2026 was indeed a day full of joy and excitement! From caring for patients to chasing goals – this was an event full of energy and team spirit.

Our first year GNM students went for their community village camp to Chamkaur Sahab where they spread awareness among the villagers about basic healthcare and medical norms. Our students learned how serving the community is the most important aspect of nursing and that is what matters the most.

The first year GNM students visited The Verka Dairy Plant in Mohali today as a part of their community healthcare learning. The students got completely invested in the tour as they found the functioning and the day to day activities of a dairy plant to be very fascinating. They were thrilled to witness high quality dairy production take place with the help of great teamwork, without compromising with the high safety and hygiene standards, all of which is very important in the field of nursing as well.
