Hindi Diwas is celebrated on September 14th every year to commemorate the adoption of Hindi as one of India's official languages. On this day in 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted Hindi in its Devanagari script as the official language of the country. The main purpose of Hindi Diwas is to promote and celebrate the linguistic and cultural diversity of India, with a focus on preserving and nurturing the Hindi language.

Each year, Teachers' Day is celebrated on September 5 in India. Teachers' Day in India is marked in honour of Bharat Ratna Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan (5 September 1888 – 17 April 1975) was an Indian philosopher and statesman who served as the first Vice President of India (1952–1962) and the second President of India (1962–1967).

One of India's most distinguished twentieth-century scholars of comparative religion and philosophy, after completing his education at Madras Christian College in 1911, he became Assistant Professor and later Professor of Philosophy at Madras Presidency College then subsequently Professor of Philosophy at the University of Mysore (1918-1921); the King George V Chair of Mental and Moral Science at the University of Calcutta (1921–1932) and Spalding Professor of Eastern Religion and Ethics at University of Oxford (1936–1952) by which he became the first Indian to hold a professorial chair at the University of Oxford. He was Upton Lecturer at Manchester College, Oxford in 1926, 1929, and 1930. In 1930 he was appointed Haskell lecturer in Comparative Religion at the University of Chicago.

His philosophy was grounded in Advaita Vedanta, reinterpreting this tradition for a contemporary understanding. He defended Hinduism against "uninformed Western criticism", contributing to the formation of contemporary Hindu identity. He has been influential in shaping the understanding of Hinduism, in both India and the west, and earned a reputation as a bridge-builder between India and the West.

Teachers' Day is a special day to thank and remember the teachers who have shaped us and show our appreciation for them.

Celebrating the bond of brother-sister by GKPS students

Raksha Bandhan is a Hindu festival that celebrates the bond between brothers and sisters. It's marked by sisters tying a protective thread (rakhi) around their brothers' wrists, symbolizing their love and the brothers' promise to protect them. It's a day of strengthening family ties and exchanging gifts, representing mutual care and support.

National Sports Day is celebrated every year on 29 August to commemorate the birthday of Major Dhyan Chand whose magic with the hockey stick can never be forgotten. The day raises awareness about physical activity, sports, and overall health. Furthermore, it lauds the outstanding support given by the families, coaches, and support staff towards the success of athletes.
Its a matter of creation of sportsmanship and teamwork which
bring laurel to the school as the students participated in the Inter house Kho-kho tournament on the occasion of National Sports day. The details of the winners are as follows:-
1st position 🥇:-Shiksha House
2nd position 🥈 :-Sabhyata House
3rd position 🥉:-Sanskar House
Consolation prize:-Sanskriti House
Man of the match:-Ansh Saini
Principal mam along with entire GKPS family congratulated all the winners for their fantastic performance.
