🎉 Celebrating NSS Day at Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU), Moradabad!🎉

On September 24, 2024, our vibrant TMU family came together to celebrate National Service Scheme (NSS) Day with great enthusiasm! 🌟

The day kicked off with a beautiful Ganesh Vandana performed by Vaishnavi Chaudhary from the Faculty of Education, setting a joyful tone for the festivities. 🕊️✨

Our talented students from the Law, Medical, Agriculture, Management, Physiotherapy, and Computer Science colleges took the stage to address pressing social issues through engaging cultural programs. From anti-drug campaigns to road safety awareness, they showcased their creativity and commitment to making a difference! 💪💚

Prof. M. P. Singh, our Dean of Students’ Welfare and In Charge of NSS, shared inspiring insights on the 63 impactful activities carried out in our adopted villages— Nanakbadi, Ginnaur, Manoharpur, Mauda Tainya, Phalenda-Sultanpur, Phattepur-Vishnoi, Hakimpur, and Guraitha—since January 2022. With 480 registered students from 14 colleges participating, we are proud to contribute to rural development, health, education, and environmental protection! 🌱🏡

Our esteemed Chief Guest, Prof. V. K. Jain, Honble’ Vice-Chancellor of TMU, highlighted the vital role of NSS in connecting our youth with society and fostering active participation in nation-building. 🙌🇮🇳

To honor their dedication, we presented Appreciation Letters to our hardworking NSS coordinators. 🎓✨

टीएमयू में धूमधाम से मना अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मातृभाषा दिवस

दिनांक 21/2/2022 दिन-सोमवार को तीर्थंकर महावीर विश्वविद्यालय की राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना इकाई द्वारा फैकेल्टी आफ एजुकेशन (बी.ए.बीएड.)के बहुउद्देशीय हॉल में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मातृ भाषा दिवस के अवसर पर कवि सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया गया। जिसमें मुख्य अतिथि निदेशक छात्र कल्याण प्रो.एम.पी.सिहं ने अपने ज्ञानवर्धक उद्बोधन में मातृभाषा की उपलब्धियों और मातृभाषा के विकास में आने वाली कठिनाइयों का विस्तृत वर्णन किया साथ ही उन्होंने समन्वय राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना एवं संयुक्त निदेशक कार्यक्रम दोनों से हर वर्ष एक हिंदी पत्रिका प्रकाशित करने की बात कही । विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित संयुक्त निदेशक कार्यक्रम डॉ अमित शर्मा ने बताया कि मात्रिभाषा हमारी सांस्कृतिक पहचान को परिलक्षित करती है इसके साथ ही उन्होंने मातृभाषा के साथ-साथ अन्य भाषाओं को जानने समझने पर भी जोर दिया उनका मानना था कि मातृभाषा या कोई भी भाषा हमारे लिए बाधक नहीं होनी चाहिए। राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना इकाई के समन्वयक डॉ रवि प्रकाश सिंह ने मातृभाषा दिवस के इतिहास को बताते हुए मातृभाषा को सांस्कृतिक संवाहक के रूप में बताया। इस कार्यक्रम में विश्वविद्यालय के विभिन्न विभागों से पच्चीस प्रतिभागी उपस्थित हुए जिसमें नर्सिंग कॉलेज से सिमरन, इशिका, मानसी,नोबिया काज़मी,यासमीन,
आयुषी खजूरिया,दीपेंद्र कुमार,विकास,तीर्थंकर पार्श्वनाथ कॉलेज आफ नर्सिंग अमरोहा से अल्ताफ,फिजियोथेरेपी से आहना गुप्ता,अंशिका मित्तल,मुनीर आलम,शोएब अख्तर,तीर्थंकर कुंथुनाथ कॉलेज आफ एजुकेशन से अंशिका भटनागर,शिवांशी चौहान, प्रशंसा पांडे,अंजलि कश्यप,श्री प्रेम प्रकाश मेमोरियल कॉलेज से नितिन शिवम, प्राची सिंह,रिया विश्नोई,गौरव,सृष्टि जयसवाल ने प्रतिभाग किया अतिथियों का स्वागत डॉक्टर विनोद कुमार जैन ने किया,मंच संचालन श्रीमती पूनम चौहान ने किया धन्यवाद ज्ञापन करते हुए डॉ अशोक लखेरा जी ने मातृभाषा हमारे लिए कितनी आवश्यक है इस विषय पर चर्चा की।
इस कार्यक्रम में फैकेल्टी आफ एजुकेशन के डॉ रत्नेश जैन नर्सिंग कॉलेज से असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर श्री प्रमोद कुमार,असिस्टेंट रजिस्ट्रार एजुकेशन श्री दीपक मलिक,डॉ शेफाली जैन,डॉ मुक्ता गुप्ता,श्री महेश कुमार,श्री नितिन कंसल, श्री ओमवीर सिंह चौधरी, श्री ओमवीर यादव के साथ-साथ 100 के करीब छात्र छात्राएं उपस्थित रहे।

National Service Scheme (NSS) unit, TMU organized various activities on the occasion of National Integration Day, one of them was Run for Unity. Chief guest Dr. Aditya Sharma started the unity race by garlanding the picture of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Ekta Run started from Cricket Pavilion and ended at Cricket Pavilion via Admin Block, Jinalaya, Indoor Sports Complex, CCSIT. More than 200 volunteers including principals, faculty members and staff participated in the Run for Unity. At the end of the program NSS Coordinator, Dr. Ravi Prakash highlighted the importance of the day and thanked all the participants.
