The morning assembly conducted by Class VIII on 27th April was an inspiring presentation based on the theme “Success Begins Where Fear Ends.” The program reflected confidence, creativity, and a strong message of courage and determination.
It began with soulful musical performances by the Music Department, followed by affirmative thoughts encouraging self-belief and overcoming fear.
A presentation on the lives of eminent personalities such as Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Nelson Mandela, Sudha Murthy, Dr. Rajendra Singh, Ratan Tata, Marie Curie, and Mary Kom highlighted the importance of perseverance and courage in achieving success.
A motivational recitation of “Koshish Karne Walon Ki Kabhi Haar Nahi Hoti” added emotional depth to the assembly. An impactful Anti-Bullying session conducted by School Counselor Dr. Ruchi Chandan, including a skit and pledge activity, emphasized kindness, empathy, and respect.

Numbers in Action – Learning Cardinal & Ordinal Concepts🔢

Students of class 1 engaged in an interactive activity on cardinal and ordinal numbers through matching and recognition tasks.

The activity helped children to understand the concept of quantity (cardinal numbers) and position (ordinal numbers) in a meaningful and hands-on way. By matching numbers and identifying their correct order, students strengthened their number sense and logical thinking skills.

This learning experience encouraged observation, comparison and active participation, enabling children to connect mathematical concepts with real-life situations. It also supported cognitive development, problem-solving abilities and confidence in using numbers effectively.

*Preservation of Food*

An engaging and informative activity on the topic “Preservation of Food and Its Methods” was conducted in Class VII. The main aim of this activity was to help students understand the importance of preserving food and the different methods used to prevent spoilage.
Students actively participated by bringing creative projects to the classroom. Many of them displayed samples of dried fruits and vegetables, explaining how drying is an effective method of food preservation. They also shared knowledge about other preservation techniques such as salting, refrigeration, pickling, and using preservatives.
Each student confidently presented their project in front of the class. They explained the process, benefits, and importance of their chosen preservation method. This helped in improving their communication skills, confidence, and practical understanding of the topic.
The activity was highly interactive and informative. Students showed great enthusiasm and curiosity while learning from each other’s presentations. Overall, it was a successful activity that combined learning with creativity and participation.

*“Their paws may be small, but the impact they leave on your heart is enormous.”*

The Grade 3 students participated in an educational visit to CP 67 - Mohali as part of the *Vantara Rescue Rangers* event. The purpose of the visit was to enhance students’ awareness of wildlife conservation and the importance of protecting and caring for animals. The event included engaging and interactive sessions that effectively introduced students to the concepts of rescue, rehabilitation, and environmental responsibility.

In addition to the learning experience, the students also spent time at the Hamley's play area, where they participated in various recreational activities. This provided them with an opportunity to relax, interact with their peers, and enjoy a well-deserved break in a safe and vibrant environment.

Stepping In, Moving Ahead – Learning Through Play

Paragon Kids KG 1 students actively participated in Hoop Scoops Dash, a dynamic gross motor activity designed to strengthen physical development through play.

The activity encouraged children to move in and out of hoops while balancing and coordinating their body movements. It supported the development of agility, balance and large muscle strength while enhancing spatial awareness.

Through this engaging game, students explored the in–out concept in a fun and meaningful way, building confidence, focus and better body coordination. Learning became joyful as children connected movement with understanding.

We are proud to share the wonderful achievement of our young entrepreneur, Navya- Class VII who has been honored as the Youngest Entrepreneur at The Vibe Makers Show during the Baisakhi Fest - Sadda Punjab, held in Mohali on 11th April 2026.

The morning assembly on the occasion of Earth Day was conducted with great enthusiasm and awareness by the students. The program began with the Affirmation of the Day filled the atmosphere with positivity and encouraged students to adopt eco-friendly habits in their daily lives followed by a positive note with a soulful song dedicated to Mother Earth, spreading the message of love, care, and responsibility towards our environment.

This was followed by the Thought of the Day, which inspired everyone to protect and preserve nature for future generations. The students then presented the Word of the Day, enriching vocabulary while connecting it meaningfully to environmental awareness.

A meaningful speech on Earth Day highlighted the importance of conserving natural resources, reducing pollution, and taking small yet impactful steps to save our planet. The speaker emphasized that every individual’s effort counts in building a sustainable future.

The assembly also featured a meaningful dance performance highlighting the importance of saving our planet. Through graceful movements and expressive gestures, the students beautifully conveyed the message of protecting nature and maintaining harmony with the environment.”

The assembly concluded with a strong message to respect, protect, and nurture our Earth, reminding everyone that “Together, we can make a difference.”

Language Learning Through Play – Hindi Varnmala ✨

Our young learners explored Hindi Varnmala through an engaging, activity-based session. Using interactive flashcards, children identified and sorted स्वर (vowels) and व्यंजन (consonants), making learning active and meaningful.

The activity encouraged observation, participation and self-expression while strengthening early language skills. Children developed better sound recognition, visual connection with letters and confidence in speaking.
