बहुत समय पहले की बात हैं, एक व्यक्ति था जो बेहद आलसी और साथ ही साथ गरीब भी था। वह कुछ भी मेहनत नहीं करना चाहता था। लेकिन अमीर बनने का सपना देखता रहता था। वह भिक्षा मांगकर अपना गुजारा करता था।

एक सुबह उसे भिक्षा के रूप में दूध से भरा एक घड़ा मिला। वह बहुत प्रसन्न हुआ और दूध का घड़ा लेकर घर चला गया।

उसने दूध को उबाला, उसमें से कुछ दूध पिया और बचा हुआ दूध, एक बर्तन में डाल दिया। दूध को दही में बदलने के लिए उसने बर्तन में थोड़ा सा दही डाला। इसके बाद वह सोने के लिए लेट गया। वह सोते समय दही के बर्तन के बारे में सोचने लगा।

उसने सोचा, “सुबह तक दूध दही बन जायेगा। मैं दही को मथकर उससे मक्खन बना लूंगा। फिर मक्खन को गर्म करके उससे घी बना लूंगा। फिर घी को बाजार में जाकर उसे बेच दूँगा और कुछ पैसे कमा लूंगा। उस पैसे से मैं एक मुर्गी खरीदूंगा। मुर्गी अंडे देगी, उन अंडो से बहुत सारे मुर्गे मुर्गी पैदा होंगे। फिर ये मुर्गियां सैकड़ों अंडे देगी और मेरे पास जल्द ही एक पोल्ट्री फार्म होगा।” वह कल्पना में डूबा रहा।

फिर उसने सोचा, “मैं सारी मुर्गियां बेच दूंगा और फिर कुछ गाय भैंस खरीद लूंगा और दूध की डेयरी खोल दूंगा। शहर के सभी लोग मुझसे दूध खरीदने आएंगे और मैं बहुत जल्दी ही अमीर हो जाऊंगा। फिर में अमीर परिवार की खूबसूरत लड़की से शादी कर कर लूंगा। फिर मेरा एक सुंदर सा बेटा होगा। अगर वह कोई शरारत करेगा तो मुझे बहुत गुस्सा आएगा और उसे सबक सिखाने के लिए मैं उसे डंडे से ऐसे मारूंगा।”

यह सोचने के दौरान उसने बिस्तर के बगल में पड़ा डंडा उठाया और मारने का नाटक करने लगा। यही डंडा उसके दूध के बर्तन में लग गया और दूध का बर्तन टूट गया, इससे सारा दूध जमीन पर फैल गया।

बर्तन की आवाज सुनकर उस आदमी की नींद उड़ गई। फैला हुआ दूध देखकर उसने अपना सिर पकड़ लिया।

*शिक्षा:-*
सपने देखो, लेकिन खाली सपने देखने से कुछ नहीं होगा। हमें कड़ी मेहनत करनी होगी। कुछ भी जिंदगी में आसानी से नहीं मिलता हैं। हमारी जिंदगी को बेहतरीन बनाने के लिए कड़ी मेहनत करनी होगी। क्योंकि कड़ी मेहनत का कोई विकल्प नहीं है।

अगर आप केवल सपने ही देखते रहते हैं उनको साकार करने के लिए कोई कदम नहीं उठाते हैं, तो ऐसा करके आप खुद को धोखा दे रहे हैं। इसलिए पहले खुद का 100% दीजिए, फिर सफलता खुद आपके कदम चूमने आएगी।

THE LION AND THE SHEEP

A new born cub (whose mother just died) is found by a sheep who decides to raise him as her own. The lion cub grows with the sheep bleating and even eating grass.

But he never felt happy as the other sheep would say, “You are so ugly and your voice sounds so weird. Why can’t you bleat properly like the rest of us? You are a disgrace to the sheep community!”

Hearing this the lion felt he had let down the sheep community by being so different.

One day, an older lion from a far off jungle sees the herd of sheep and decides to attack it. While attacking, it sees the young lion also running away along with the other sheep.

Curious as to what was happening, the older lion decides to pursue the younger lion. He pounces on the lion, growls asking him why he is running away.

The younger lion pleads: “Please don’t eat me, I am just a young sheep. Please let me go”!

Upon hearing this, the older lion growls, “That’s nonsense! You are not a sheep, you are a lion, just like me!” The younger lion simply repeats, “I know I am a sheep, please let me go”.

At this point the older lion gets an idea. He drags the younger lion to a river nearby and asks him to look at his reflection. Upon looking at the reflection, the lion, much to his astonishment, realizes who he really is - He is not a sheep, he is a mighty lion!

The young lion feels so thrilled that he lets out a mighty roar. The roar echoes from all corners of the jungle and frightens the living daylight out of all the sheep that were hiding behind the bushes to see what was happening. They all flee away.

The lion had found his true nature and herd!

2. When the younger lion becomes aware of its limiting beliefs through self-reflection he realizes his true nature. He is no longer influenced by its surroundings and develops a bigger vision.

3. Just like the younger lion in this story, you might have been brought up in surroundings that were negative and hence accumulated many negative beliefs about yourself. Bad parenting, bad teachers, bad peers, media, government and society can all have these negative influences on us when we are young.

4. As an adult, it is easy to lose yourself in negative thoughts and to start feeling like a victim by blaming the past. But that will only keep you stuck in the current reality. To change your reality and find your tribe, you need to start working on your inner self and focus all your energy towards becoming self-aware.

5. The older lion in this story is not an external entity. It is an internal entity. It lives right inside you. The older lion is your true self, your awareness. Allow your awareness to shine light onto all your limiting beliefs and find who you truly are.
