From the classrooms of CGC Landran to earning a place in the Indian Navy, Sahil Singh Chhikara (B.Tech CSE, 2020–2024) has achieved a remarkable milestone with his selection as a Sub-Lieutenant (GSX) through NSB Visakhapatnam.
Before embarking on his next chapter at the Indian Naval Academy, Sahil returned to the institution that shaped his aspirations and strengthened his resolve. His homecoming was more than a visit-it was a tribute to the mentors, opportunities, and values that played a vital role in his success.
True achievements become even more meaningful when shared with the people who stood beside you throughout the journey. Returning to his alma mater, Sahil proudly reflected on the experiences, guidance, and support that helped transform a dream into reality.

10-Day Integrated Summer Course Successfully Concluded!
The Department of Biotechnology, Chandigarh College of Technology (CCT), CGC Landran, in collaboration with the Punjab Biotechnology Incubator (PBTI), Mohali, successfully organized a 10-day Integrated Summer Course on “Functional Foods and Quality Assurance: Standards, Safety and Regulatory Requirements.”
The program offered students an enriching blend of theoretical knowledge and practical training in functional foods, nutraceuticals, food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. From advanced laboratory techniques and AI-powered bioinformatics tools to industrial exposure in food testing and quality assessment laboratories, participants gained valuable industry-relevant skills and practical expertise.
With expert sessions, laboratory visits, technical presentations, and assessments, the course successfully bridged the gap between academic learning and industry expectations, preparing students for the evolving biotechnology and food sectors.

8-Days AICTE FDP on Universal Human Values- II Begins at CGC Landran!
CGC College of Engineering, in collaboration with the Department of Student Welfare, CGC Landran, proudly commenced the 8-Day AICTE Faculty Development Program on Universal Human Values- II (UHV-II).
The inaugural session was led by esteemed Resource Person Dr. Priya Darshni and Observer Shri Bidhi Chand Ji, who engaged faculty and staff in meaningful discussions on holistic and value-based education.
This prestigious FDP, conducted under the guidance of AICTE and NCCIP, aims to empower educators with a deeper understanding of happiness, prosperity, harmony, ethical living, and social responsibility-essential values for shaping future-ready professionals and responsible citizens.
