🎬✨ Cinematography Masterclass at School of Animation & Design, RBU ✨🎥

The School of Animation & Design, Rayat Bahra University had the privilege of hosting Mr. Harpal Singh — an experienced Cinematographer, DOP, and Camera Specialist associated with acclaimed films including Manje Bistre, Ardaas 2, Punjab 1984, and Chal Mera Putt 2 & 3, along with international shooting experience across the UK and Canada.

🎥 During the masterclass, he shared valuable practical insights into camera techniques, lighting design, cinematography fundamentals, and real on-set workflows. Students were introduced to the essentials of camera operation and the practical understanding required beyond simply learning different camera models.

🌍 The session also gave students exposure to real industry experiences, including challenges faced during international shoots and the working culture of professional productions.

💼 A major highlight of the interaction was the discussion around the wide range of career opportunities available in cinematography, film production, music video production, film business, and distribution — along with guidance on industry gaps, professional roles, and emerging opportunities for young creators.

💡 The highly interactive session helped students connect classroom learning with the realities of the media and entertainment industry.

🎬 Masterclass on Cinematography – School of Animation & Design, RBU

The School of Animation & Design, Rayat Bahra University is organizing a Masterclass on Cinematography as part of its continued effort to provide industry-oriented exposure to students.

The session will be conducted by Mr. Harpal Singh, an experienced Cinematographer, DOP and Camera Specialist, who has worked on 20+ films across India and international projects (UK & Canada).

Through this masterclass, students will gain insights into cinematography techniques, lighting, on-set workflows, and professional practices in film production.

On the occasion of World Health Day, students of the Animation & Design School, Rayat Bahra University organized a Health Awareness Parade in the campus.

Our students actively interacted with others and spread awareness about important health measures and the need for a healthy lifestyle. They also distributed creative cards with inspiring health quotes to encourage everyone towards better well-being.

We are delighted to welcome Mr. Vipin Kamboj to the School of Animation & Design at Rayat Bahra University on 24 February for an insightful expert lecture on Filmmaking and the Art of Film Making 🎬✨.
