On 27 February 2026, SkillLabs conducted an Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) at Government ITI, Patta under the Raising & Accelerating MSMEs Performance Programme (RAMP).

With participation from 34 students and 4 faculty members, the session focused on integrating entrepreneurship within technical education. Students explored how vocational expertise can evolve into structured enterprises through business planning, Udyam registration, government support schemes, and digital adoption.

The discussions highlighted an important shift — technical skills are not limited to employment pathways; they can also form the foundation of sustainable enterprises within the MSME ecosystem.

Under the Raising & Accelerating MSMEs Performance Programme (RAMP), SkillLabs conducted an Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) on 27 February 2026 at Panchayat Ghar, Dharampur, Himachal Pradesh.

The session engaged 20 women entrepreneurs from the Amrit Cluster Level Federation (CLF), who manufacture eco-friendly products from pine needles and are associated with the Himalayan Pine Crest Women Cooperative Society Ltd..

The workshop focused on business formalization, branding, packaging, and market linkages to help scale sustainable enterprises. The presence of Ms. Khushi, Secretary of the Cooperative Society, further strengthened institutional collaboration and women-led enterprise development.

Students were introduced to identifying real-world problems, developing viable business ideas, and understanding structured business models. A strong emphasis was placed on entrepreneurial mindset development and digital awareness, highlighting how online branding, digital literacy, and effective platform usage can accelerate business growth. On 24 February 2026, an Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) under the Raising & Accelerating MSMEs Performance Programme (RAMP) was conducted at Industrial Training Institute Kuthar.

The session engaged 30 students from Mechanical and COPA trades, encouraging them to see their technical skills not just as qualifications, but as potential business opportunities.

Students explored the fundamentals of Business Models, structured planning, and how ideas can be converted into viable enterprises. A strong emphasis was placed on Digital Literacy — building online presence, using digital tools, and leveraging technology for marketing and growth.

The interactive discussions helped bridge the gap between vocational training and entrepreneurship, inspiring students to think beyond employment and move toward enterprise creation.
