An activity on Equality and Equity was conducted for the students of LKG and UKG under project C**A wherein students learnt about the difference between the two terms.
Equality means that everyone is given the same opportunities and rights. It applies regardless of race, gender, age or social status.
Equity involves providing resources and support based on an individual's specific needs.
The activity focussed on the role of teachers in the institution, how they nurture the tiny minds giving fair chance to all and thus by keeping into account their specific needs and furnishing resources if required for laying stronger foundation.
