One of the most awaited traditions of Yadavindra Public School Mohali - the Senior Wing Annual Treks 2026 - is all set to begin from 25 May to 29 May 2026.

More than 800 students along with 60 teachers will embark on an unforgettable journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.

These treks are not just about reaching destinations, but about discovering courage, building teamwork, embracing resilience, and creating memories that last a lifetime. The Himalayas are calling once again!

We wish all participants a safe, exciting, and enriching experience filled with adventure and learning.

Proud Moment for Yadavindra Public School Mohali

Our talented students participated with immense enthusiasm in the IPSC Dance Festival Sanskar Nartiya Rangutsav 2026, hosted by The Sanskaar Valley School from 30th April to 4th May 2026.

Representing the school in the Lok Sparsh Folk Dance category, the team delivered a vibrant and energetic Bhangra performance that captivated both the judges and the audience.

We are delighted to share that the team won the Most Vibrant and Energetic Performance Award along with certificates for their outstanding presentation.
Their passion, coordination, and infectious energy truly brought laurels to the school. Congratulations to all the participants and mentors for this remarkable achievement!

Yadavindra Public School, Mohali proudly hosted the Ninth Edition of its prestigious Inter-School IT Fest, TECHX 2026, on May 9, 2026. The event brought together nearly 150 students from 19 reputed schools across the Tricity and Punjab region, competing across events rooted in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Coding, 3D Designing, and Multimedia.

Shining Stars of ICSE & ISC 2026

Another year. Yet another moment of immense pride for the YPS Mohali family. Our students have once again delivered exceptional results, reinforcing a legacy defined by consistency, dedication, and the drive to excel.

The ICSE Class X cohort achieved a 100% pass result, with 62 students scoring above 90%, 23 above 95%, and all 131 students securing First Division. The ISC Class XII students mirrored this excellence with a 100% pass result, 29 students above 90%, 12 above 95%, and all 53 students securing First Division.

What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that many of these academic achievers have also excelled on the sports field - balancing discipline in classrooms with determination in arenas, truly embodying the spirit of holistic development at YPS Mohali.

These results are a testament to the collective effort of students, the unwavering commitment of teachers, and the constant support of parents.

Earth Day Special Assembly

On 22nd April 2026, Yadavindra Public School, Mohali marked Earth Day through thoughtfully curated assemblies across the Senior and Preparatory Wings.

Centred around the theme “Our Power, Our Planet,” students expressed their ideas through poems, show-and-tell, and creative presentations. A poster-making activity further highlighted their ability to combine creativity with meaningful environmental messages.

A collective oath reinforced the importance of sustainable living, while the Eco-Club led an awareness drive to encourage responsible environmental practices.

The initiative served as a reminder that small, conscious actions can contribute to a more sustainable future.

Exploring the Future of Science and Technology

On 23rd April 2026, Grade XII-O students of YPS Mohali visited Plaksha University, gaining exposure to a dynamic environment of interdisciplinary learning and innovation.

The visit included tours of advanced research facilities such as the CRISPR Lab, WaterX Lab, IPCCEE Lab, and the Maker’s Space, where students observed work being done in biotechnology, clean energy, and applied sciences.

Interactions with faculty and current students offered valuable insights into how academic learning can be integrated with real-world problem-solving. The experience broadened perspectives and encouraged students to explore future pathways in science and technology.

Three years in a row. One unforgettable statement.

YPS Mohali’s Girls’ Basketball Team has created history at the 21st Lady Honoria Lawrence Inter-School Basketball Tournament 2026. With a commanding run through the competition, the team topped Pool B, secured a convincing semi-final victory over Pinegrove School, and went on to defeat Welham Girls’ School 64–55 in the final.

This remarkable third consecutive win means that YPS Mohali now earns permanent possession of the Honoria Cup for the very first time. It is a moment that reflects consistency, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Avantika Singh emerged as the defining force of the tournament, delivering an extraordinary performance with 116 points, earning Player of the Match in every game, and being named the Best Player of the tournament.

This is more than a victory. It is a legacy written on the court.

A celebration of words, ideas, and imagination.

YPS Mohali marked a significant milestone with LitVerse 1.0, its first-ever Interschool Literary Fest, held on 25 April 2026. Bringing together students from 20 schools, the event became a vibrant platform for expression, creativity, and intellectual exchange.

From Dramatic Interpretation and TED-style talks to Newspaper Designing and Literary Quiz, every segment reflected confidence, originality, and sharp thinking.

The event was enriched by the presence of esteemed educators and judges, Dr. Sakoon Singh, Dr. Neeraj Kumar Singh, and Dr. Ajay, whose insights and feedback added depth to the experience.

A memorable highlight was the engaging session by cartoonist and author Mr. Ajit Narayan, inspiring young minds to think creatively.
Vivek High School, Chandigarh emerged as Champions, followed by Manav Mangal High School, Chandigarh and Amity International School, Mohali.
