Students of the Bachelor of Interior Design at Amity School of Architecture & Planning stepped beyond the classroom to engage with children at Akaal Aasra Trust, Mohali, as part of their Flat-Pack Design course.

Through meaningful interactions and conversations, students explored real user needs and translated their insights into functional, inclusive and user-centred design solutions.

An enriching experience that brought together creativity, empathy, participation and socially responsible design—turning classroom learning into meaningful community engagement.

The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, School of Health Sciences, Amity University Punjab, celebrated Nutrition Week with an engaging blend of awareness, learning and creativity.

From interactive nutrition games and balanced diet awareness to counselling sessions, healthy food demonstrations and an impactful Nukkad Natak on menopause nutrition, the event highlighted the importance of informed food choices and healthy lifestyles. 🥗💚

The Amity School of Forensic Science, Amity University Punjab, organised a Guest Lecture on “Crime Scene Safety & Investigation”, followed by a hands-on workshop.

Students gained practical insights into crime scene management, evidence handling, fingerprint examination, documentation and forensic investigation through demonstrations by professionals from SAS Nagar Police.

⚖️ Amity Law Students Gain Practical Exposure at Lok Adalat

Students of Amity Law School, Amity University Punjab, under the aegis of the Legal Aid Clinic, visited the Lok Adalat at the District Courts Complex, SAS Nagar (Mohali).

The visit provided students with valuable practical exposure to the conciliation and settlement process, allowing them to interact with presiding judges and advocates and understand the informal and conciliatory nature of Lok Adalat proceedings.

Students also gained insights into relevant case laws, the scope and binding nature of Lok Adalat awards, judicial functioning, and the practical dynamics of negotiation and settlement.

The enriching experience helped bridge the gap between classroom learning and courtroom practice, strengthening students’ understanding of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. ⚖️📚

SMART 2026: Turning Financial Concepts into Practical Insights! 📈💻

The Amity School of Business Administration successfully organised the five-day workshop “Stock Market Analysis, Research and Portfolio Techniques with Python (SMART 2026)” from 14–18 September 2026.

The workshop provided participants with hands-on exposure to financial markets, investment analysis, Python-based financial analytics, risk–return assessment and portfolio construction, culminating in a collaborative group portfolio project.

With a strong blend of learning, hands-on application, collaboration and experiential learning, SMART 2026 concluded on a high note, empowering participants with practical insights into data-driven financial analysis and portfolio management.
