We are proud to share a remarkable achievement by the students of CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY at the prestigious National Youth Parliament Sansad 2026, held from 9th to 10th April 2026.

A contingent of 20 students represented the university, out of which 3 students from the 3rd year CSE department showcased exceptional performance, contributing significantly to the university’s success.

The event turned out to be a moment of pride as Chandigarh University secured 12+ individual medals along with the Overall Trophy 🏆, reflecting the dedication, critical thinking, and leadership skills of our students.

Beyond accolades, the experience offered immense learning opportunities—enhancing public speaking, policy understanding, and real-time decision-making abilities in a parliamentary setup.

Adding to this enriching journey, students were honored with a visit to the Rashtrapati Bhavan on 11th April, along with an insightful tour of the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya, deepening their understanding of India’s political and historical landscape.

This achievement stands as a testament to the talent, hard work, and determination of our students, bringing immense pride to the department and the university.

Students explored cutting-edge labs and interacted with expert scientists, gaining practical insights beyond classroom learning. A major highlight was the iSENSE Lab, where innovative work in intelligent sensors and systems was showcased.

From seismic sensing for ground vibration detection to acoustic sensing used in surveillance and defense systems, the visit offered a deep understanding of how technology is shaping real-world solutions.

The integration of these technologies in areas like border security and infrastructure safety truly reflected the impact of research and innovation in modern engineering.

An enriching experience that bridged the gap between theory and practice, inspiring students to explore the frontiers of science and technology.
