🚀 Day 3 | Student Induction Program 2026
Orientation in Engineering Education & Launch of “AIEM Express” 🌟

Day 3 of the Student Induction Program 2026 at Abacus Institute of Engineering and Management (AIEM) featured an inspiring and engaging session on “Orientation in Engineering Education” along with the launch of AIEM Express.

The session was graced by Mr. Bidyut Majumder, Deputy Director – Business Development, JIS Group, who shared valuable insights into the world of engineering education, industry expectations, professional growth, and the opportunities available to young engineering aspirants.

His interaction with the newly inducted students emphasized the importance of technical competence, innovation, communication skills, creativity, leadership, and continuous learning in shaping a successful engineering career.

As part of Day 2 of the Student Induction Program 2026, an informative and engaging session on “Training and Placement Activities of AIEM” was delivered by Mrs. Debika Chatterjee.

The session introduced the newly inducted students to the various Training & Placement initiatives, career development opportunities, industry interactions, skill enhancement programs, internship opportunities, and placement support provided by Abacus Institute of Engineering and Management (AIEM).

Mrs. Chatterjee highlighted the importance of developing technical knowledge, communication skills, aptitude, soft skills, professional etiquette, and confidence to successfully meet the expectations of today's competitive job market.

The session motivated students to actively participate in training and placement activities from the beginning of their academic journey and encouraged them to prepare themselves for successful careers.

🚫 SAY NO TO RAGGING | AWARENESS SESSION AT AIEM 🚫

As part of the Student Induction Programme 2026 at Abacus Institute of Engineering and Management (AIEM), an important Anti-Ragging Awareness Session was conducted by the Mogra Police Station in accordance with the AICTE regulations and guidelines on prevention of ragging.

👮‍♂️ The session focused on creating awareness among newly inducted students of Diploma, B.Tech, BBA & BCA about the harmful consequences of ragging, the legal provisions associated with it, and the importance of maintaining a safe, respectful and inclusive campus environment.

Students were sensitised about their rights and responsibilities, the importance of reporting incidents of ragging, and the serious legal consequences for those involved in such activities.

🤝 At AIEM, we believe that education thrives in an environment of dignity, respect and mutual support.

🌟 A GRAND BEGINNING TO INDUCTION PROGRAM 2026 – DAY 1 | SESSION 1 🌟

Abacus Institute of Engineering and Management (AIEM) warmly welcomed its new students of Diploma, B.Tech, BBA & BCA at the Induction Program 2026.

The first session of Day 1 began with the auspicious Lamp Lighting Ceremony, conducted in the gracious presence of Swami Atmabhutananda Maharaj, In-Charge of Sarada Bhawan, Belur Math. 🪔✨

The ceremony was followed by an inspiring and motivational address by Swami Atmabhutananda Maharaj, who enlightened the students with valuable thoughts on character building, discipline, perseverance, positive thinking and the journey towards becoming responsible and successful professionals.

His words of wisdom set the perfect tone for the beginning of a new academic journey, encouraging our young learners to dream big, stay committed and make the most of every opportunity. 🌱🎓
