We celebrated the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan making the students feel the significance of this promising festival .Several special programmes like singing of songs,rhymes, speech etc.were conducted in the assembly. Rakhi making activity was organized where students took keen interest in making colorful and beautifully designed rakhis .The girl students tied the thread of bond and protection and beautified the wrists of their affectionate brothers . A " Fruits And Vegetables Market" was set up in the school to make the kindergarten students identify various fruits and vegetables. They were told that fruits and vegetables are an important component of a healthy diet and they were encouraged to eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables by making them participate in this activity.
Kindergarten students were taught the importance of each fruit and vegetable,its colour,size and its nutrient value.They had a lot of fun with their teachers. Here are some glimpses of the activity.
