District Entrepreneurship Coalition (DEC) Meeting | Prayagraj

On 24th July 2026, the District Entrepreneurship Coalition (DEC) Meeting was successfully conducted at Vikas Bhawan, Prayagraj, under the chairpersonship of Ms. Shama Singh, Deputy Commissioner (NRLM), Prayagraj.

The meeting brought together Non-Farm Block Mission Managers (BMMs) from all 13 blocks of Prayagraj, the District Mission Manager (Non-Farm), Mr. Amit Shukla, representatives from key line departments including KVIC, Fisheries, Skill Development, RSETI, Horticulture, and Agriculture Departments, along with aspiring entrepreneurs from four Cluster Level Federations (CLFs).

With representatives from nine newly added blocks joining the coalition, the session began with an introduction to the collaborative efforts of Swami Vivekanand Shiksha Samiti (SVSS), Development Alternatives (DA), and UPSRLM in strengthening entrepreneurship promotion and enterprise development across the district.

The meeting focused on strengthening departmental convergence, enabling greater coordination among stakeholders, and sharing information on various government schemes and support services available for entrepreneurs.

By bringing multiple government departments and support institutions onto a single platform, the meeting enabled entrepreneurs to access information on a wide range of government schemes, financial assistance, skill development programmes, and enterprise support services in one place. This convergence is expected to reduce information gaps, improve access to opportunities, and strengthen a more enabling ecosystem for sustainable enterprise development across Prayagraj.

Swami Vivekanand Shiksha Samiti India successfully concluded a five day Teacher Capacity Building Training Programme, bringing together Foundation Level and Level-16 educators committed to strengthening foundational learning.

The training focused on activity based teaching methodologies, foundational literacy and numeracy in Hindi, English, and Mathematics, effective classroom practices, and proper documentation through systematic record keeping. Interactive sessions, fun activites, and continuous mentoring equipped teachers with practical tools to create engaging and impactful learning environments for children.

Led by trainer Mr. Surendra Mishra, the programme reinforced SVSS's commitment to building the capacity of educators, because sustainable change in education begins with confident, skilled, and well supported teachers.

At SVSS, we believe that investing in teachers is investing in every child's future.

Thanking IIMPACT for always entrusting us in building a more aware society where every member can thrive in harmony.

Empowering Change Through Education! 🌟

We are thrilled to share the incredible success and key milestones from our recent 3-Day Orientation Workshop for Girls' child Education Program, held from 22nd June to 24th June 2026 at Manda, Prayagraj!

🚀 Scaling Our Impact
Through the dedicated efforts of our educators, community leaders, and team members who gathered for this intensive training , we are officially doubling our footprint!

By expanding our network, we are bringing structured, accessible learning directly to rural communities that need it most.
Next-Gen Classrooms: These new centers will implement advanced Multi-Grade Multi-Level (MGML) teaching methodologies. This ensures that every girl child can learn at her own pace, breaking down traditional barriers to academic success.

🤝 It Takes a Village
Education doesn't stop at the classroom door. A major highlight of this 3-day workshop was the collaborative creation of strategic action plans designed to bridge the gap between homes and schools. By fostering deep parent-teacher trust, we are tackling student absenteeism head-on and building a sustainable culture of regular attendance.

"An investment in knowledge pays the best interest." We aren't just opening centers; we are committing to a future where quality education is a guarantee for every single girl child.

True empowerment isn’t just about changing your own life it’s about reshaping the future of your family and community. The story of Jyoti Prajapati, a 29-year-old from Parsipur village (Bhadohi), is a beautiful testament to what happens when raw talent meets unstoppable determination.

The real catalyst for change came when she joined a local Self-Help Group (SHG) and connected with the Cluster Level Federation (CLF). Attending an Entrepreneurship Development Program meeting opened doors to modern technology and training.

Recognizing her pottery skills, the team helped her secure an electric pottery wheel through KVIB. Jyoti didn't stop there she completed KVIB beautician training and invested in specialized machinery from Chunar to produce designer clay cups.
Her financial growth has been extraordinary, with her monthly earnings more than doubling.
The ultimate victory?

Her husband was able to leave his distant migrant job to return home permanently, and he now proudly works alongside her to support the growing enteprise.

"With hard work and the right opportunities, even small beginnings can lead to great success." — Jyoti Prajapati

Every child deserves the chance to learn, play, dream, and grow in a safe environment.

Yet, millions of children around the world continue to be engaged in labor, often at the cost of their education, health, and childhood.

On the World Day Against Child Labour, let us reaffirm our collective responsibility to ensure that every child has access to education, protection, and opportunities to thrive.

Because childhood is meant for learning, playing, and dreaming, not labor!

“Madam, bulb theek ho jayega?”

A question Anita Devi hears almost every day now at her small electronics repair shop in one of the village in Mirzapur.

What makes this story special isn’t just the repair shop.
It’s the person repairing them.

A few years ago, Anita Devi was managing household responsibilities in an agriculture dependent family struggling with limited income. Owning a business or repairing electronic circuits felt far from reality.

Today, she repairs LED bulbs, boards, and electronic items with confidence, while running her own enterprise: *GPS Electronic Center.*

With support from Swami Vivekanand Shiksha Samiti through training, financial linkages, and market exposure, Anita transformed a small idea into a growing livelihood. Her income nearly doubled, but more importantly, so did her confidence.

Now, customers from nearby villages trust her skills. Women in her community look at her differently. And young girls see something they hadn’t seen before:-

A woman confidently running a technical business in a village. She now wants to train SHG women and local youth in electronic repair work so others can build livelihoods too.

Because empowerment doesn’t always arrive loudly.
Sometimes, it quietly switches the light back on.
