🌸 POCSO Awareness Workshop at DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL MIDNAPUR 🌸

DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL MIDNAPUR organised an insightful POCSO Awareness Workshop aimed at sensitising students and staff about child safety, protection, personal boundaries and responsible behaviour.

The workshop focused on creating awareness about the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, recognising unsafe situations, understanding the importance of speaking up, and knowing where to seek help when needed.

Through interactive discussions and practical guidance, the participants were encouraged to build a culture of safety, respect, dignity and empathy within the school community.

The session was a meaningful step towards empowering children with knowledge and ensuring a safe, secure and supportive environment for every child.

The spirit of devotion, creativity and togetherness came alive at DAV Public School Midnapur as our young learners celebrated the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi with great enthusiasm and joy. 🐘🌼

✨ Activities conducted included:
🎨 Ganesha Idol Making – Students showcased their creativity by crafting beautiful Ganesha idols using eco-friendly materials.
🖍️ Drawing & Colouring Activity – Children expressed their imagination through colourful Ganesha-themed artwork.
🌸 Decoration Activity – Students beautifully decorated their classrooms and activity spaces with festive motifs.
🙏 Prayer & Shloka Recitation – The celebration began with prayers and devotional chants seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha.
🎭 Storytelling & Cultural Activities – Students learnt about the significance of Ganesh Chaturthi through engaging stories and presentations.
🌱 Eco-Friendly Celebration – Children were sensitised towards celebrating festivals responsibly while caring for Mother Nature.

The celebration was a wonderful blend of tradition, creativity, values and environmental awareness, leaving our little ones with cherished memories and meaningful learning. 💛🌿

A beautiful celebration of Hindi Diwas was organised at our school where our adorable junior kids participated with great enthusiasm and joy. 🌸✨

The little ones celebrated the richness of the Hindi language through rhymes, poems, songs, speeches and engaging activities, filling the school campus with creativity and enthusiasm. 🎤🎶📖

The celebration aimed to nurture a love for Hindi, appreciation for our linguistic heritage, and confidence in expressing themselves in their mother tongue.
