DRUG-FREE TAMIL NADU – A Collective Commitment by Our Students

As part of the Drug Awareness Programme conducted by the District Administration at SSVM Mettupalayam on 14 August, our students came together to create a powerful aerial formation of the words “DRUG-FREE TAMIL NADU” along with the map of Tamil Nadu.

The programme featured insightful awareness sessions by Deputy Commissioner of Excise, Mr. Sathanai Kural, and Inspector of Police, Mr. Gnanasekaran, who addressed the students on the dangers and harmful impact of drugs. They encouraged the young minds to make responsible choices, stay away from substance abuse and actively contribute to creating a safer society.

The students were also inspired to become ambassadors of awareness, helping safeguard their friends, families and communities from the influence of drugs.

The formation of “DRUG-FREE TAMIL NADU” and the Tamil Nadu state map by our students beautifully expressed their collective pledge:

“Say NO to Drugs. Say YES to Life.”

Together, let us build a healthier, safer and Drug-Free Tamil Nadu.

At the 47th Coimbatore Sahodaya CBSE Inter-School Boys Kabaddi Tournament 2026, our young champions delivered an outstanding performance:

Celebrating the Spirit of Sportsmanship
The 47th Coimbatore Sahodaya Schools Complex Interschool Throwball Tournament for Girls 2026–27, hosted by SSVM World School on 23rd and 24th July 2026, was a wonderful celebration of young talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

The two-day tournament brought together enthusiastic players from Sahodaya member schools across the Under-12, Under-14, Under-16, and Under-19 categories. Each match was filled with excitement, determination, and the spirit to give one’s very best.

Beyond the scores and results, the tournament was about the joy of playing, learning from one another,appreciating the true values of sport. The commitment shown by the players, coaches, officials, teachers, and volunteers made the event a memorable experience for everyone.

Our SSVM World School teams were proud to be part of this sporting celebration and put up a spirited performance, earning:

Under-12 – Runners-up
Under-14 – Runners-up
Under-19 – Second Runners-up

Parade, Performance & Podium Pride

SSVM Institutions proudly showcased exceptional discipline and sporting excellence at the 1st Tamil Nadu Inter-State Athletic Meet for Schools held in Madurai.

Competing alongside 5,000+ athletes from over 800 schools, SSVM marched to victory, securing the Best Overall Prize for March Past.

Adding to the celebrations, Advikk S of SSVM Mettupalayam, Grade 7, displayed remarkable speed, focus, and resilience to clinch the Silver Medal in the Under-14 60m Hurdles. Our U-12 Boys’ 4 × 100 m Relay Team also sprinted to a Bronze Medal, securing third place.

A proud celebration of teamwork, perseverance, and the pursuit of excellence.
