Divine Child School, Mehsana, embraced the spirit of Rakshabandhan on 24th August 2026 with a celebration filled with colour, emotion, and togetherness. The campus echoed with the joy of students as they came together to celebrate one of the most cherished bonds of love and protection.

The celebration unfolded with a captivating cultural performance that brought the essence of the festival alive. The atmosphere became even more special as students took part in the traditional rakhi ceremony, tying the sacred threads with affection and exchanging heartfelt wishes.

More than a festive ritual, the occasion reminded students that a bond is strengthened through love, trust, respect, and responsibility. Smiles, laughter, and warm moments filled the day, making the celebration a beautiful reminder that some of life’s strongest relationships are tied not merely by a thread, but by the heart.

LEARNING TODAY, SKILLING TOMORROW – GRADE VIII NIGHT CAMP

Grade VIII students of DCS embarked on an exciting journey through our mesmerizing Night Camp held on 22nd & 23rd August on the theme “Learning Today, Skilling Tomorrow.” Guided by our core vision of The Leader in Me (TLIM), the entire experience was thoughtfully designed to nurture the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People through experiential learning, teamwork, creativity, problem-solving and leadership.

As a part of the camp, Kaushal Bodh stations like Tie and Dye, Bamboo Products, Personal Budgeting, Electric Circuit, Community Podcast, Robotics, Aerodynamics and Advertisements were explored. Students learned by doing, collaborated with peers and discovered their true leadership potential while exploring skills related to Work with Human Services and Work with Machines & Materials.

The night came alive with DJ, music and dance, fostering togetherness, joy and well-being, while sports activities, fun games and physical exercises added energy and enthusiasm. Overall, it was a joyful blend of learning, skilling and memorable bonding.

Heartiest congratulations to Kriday Niket Patel, Divine Child School who has earned a place at the prestigious LQ Ideathon - competing for a coveted spot at the grand finale held at IIT Bombay every December following their outstanding performance in the LogIQids International Level Assessment 25-26. From a pool of 22 lakh students globally, only the top 0.14% have earned this opportunity – and Kriday Patel is one of them.
This achievement reflects his exceptional logical reasoning, critical thinking, problem-solving ability, and creativity. The Ideathon takes this further, challenging students to identify real-world problems, develop innovative solutions, and present their ideas.
