It is a highly specialized trade that is over a century old and has become integral to Mumbai’s culture. Symbols of paramount efficiency, their services have been compared to the likes of Six Sigma (a degree of efficiency measurement) certified companies all over.

આ વાંચીને આંખો ખુલી જશે અને લોહી થીજી જશે!

તમે નહિ જાણતા હો, પરંતુ છેલ્લા ત્રણ વર્ષમાં ભારતની બે સૌથી મોટી ન્યુક્લિયર સંસ્થા Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) અને Kaiga Nuclear Facility સાથે નિષ્ઠા અને ખંતથી કામ કરનારા ૯ વૈજ્ઞાનિકો તથા બેસ્ટ બ્રેઈન એન્જીનીયરોની રહસ્યમય રીતે (unnatural deaths) મોત થયેલી છે!

૭ ઓક્ટોબર, ૨૦૧૩નો જ એક શોકાંતિક કિસ્સો છે. આંધ્ર પ્રદેશના વિશાખાપટ્ટનમ નો, જ્યાં બે એન્જીનીયર્સ K.K Josh અને Abhish Shivam (chief engineers connected with the building of India’s indigenous nuclear-powered submarine, Arihant.) એક દિવસ એકદમ વિચિત્ર રીતે રેલ્વે ટ્રેક પાસે મરેલી હાલતમાં મળી આવ્યા!

જયારે ટેસ્ટ થયો પછી ખ્યાલ આવ્યો કે પહેલા બંનેને ઝેર આપવામાં આવ્યું અને પછી તેમની લાશોને રેલ્વે ટ્રેક નજીક મૂકી દેવામાં આવી જેથી બધાને એવું લાગે કે અકસ્માત થયો છે. બીજા સાત વિજ્ઞાનીકોની સ્ટોરી પણ આવી જ કઈક મળતી આવે છે.

બધા જ કિસ્સામાં એક વસ્તુ કોમન છે અને તે એટલે, "બધી જ મોત રહસ્યમય સંજોગોમાં થયેલીં છે". આ વાત પરથી સ્પષ્ટ લાગે કે આપણા દેશની બૌદ્ધિક મિલકતને ખતમ કરવાનું સુવ્યવસ્થિત અને આયોજન પૂર્વક કરેલું આ કાવતરું છે.

આપણા માટે શરમજનક વાત તો એ છે કે આટલા મહત્વના સમાચાર ભારતના કોઈ પણ મીડિયામાં બતાવવામાં નથી આવ્યા! અને સરકાર આજે પણ મૌન જ છે. આ આખો રીપોર્ટ એક ઇન્ટરનેશનલ મીડિયામાં છપાયેલો (http://www.sunday-guardian.com/news/pmo-unconcerned-about-scientist-deaths)

જરા વિચારો, આવો એક પણ કિસ્સો કોઈ બીજા દેશમાં થયો હોત તો તુફાન મચી જાત!!

કદાચ આપણા માટે આપણો દેશ એટલે મારા ઘરની સરહદ! “હું ભલો તો દેશ ભલો” આવી વિચારસરણી વાળા જ અહી છે એટલે જ તો આવા હાલ છે. જાગો યારો જાગો....! આ પણ એક ગુલામી જ છે!!

મીડીયાવાળાનું કામ આપણે જ કરવું પડશે! કમ કે કમ આપણે આ પોસ્ટને એકવાર શેર કરી લાખો લોકોના દિલ અને દિમાગને વ્યથિત અને મનોમંથન કરવા માટે મજબૂર તો કરી શકીએ ને !
