One Day Workshop on "Introduction to GIS" was organized by Civil Engineering Department at Campus Auditorium on 24th September 2022.

Online Webinar on the "ROLES, SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF A CIVIL ENGINEER" was conducted at *Merchant Charitable Trust's* Auditorium today i. e. on 9th March 2022.
Online Presentation on the topic was delivered by Mr. Chintal Radadia from C. R. Radadia Academy, Surat.
All the faculty members, Lab Assistants as well as Students of Civil Engg. Department of Merchant Engineering College, Basna & Merchant Institute of Diploma Studies, Piludara attended this session .

Expert talk(Seminar) on the "VISHWAKARMA YOJANA : PHASE - VIII, PILUDARA VILLAGE, MEHSANA" was conducted at *Merchant Charitable Trust's* Auditorium today i. e. on 2nd March 2022.
Presentation and Talk on the topic was delivered by Prof. Akash V. Modi, Nodal Officer VY, Civil Engineering Dept. of *Merchant Engineering college - Basna, Dist : Mehsana*.
All the faculty members as well as Lab Assistants of Merchant Engineering College, Basna & Merchant Institute of Diploma Studies attended this session.

મરચન્ટ એજયુકેશન કૅમ્પસમાં સ્થિત Merchant Engineering College GTUમાં વિશ્વકર્મા યોજના ફેઝ - 8માં પિલુદરા ગામનો પ્રોજેક્ટ પસંદ કરેલ. જેમાં તમામ ડિગ્રી કોલેજોમાંથી આપણી કોલેજને Documetary film અને Project Report કેટેગરીમાં અનુક્રમે 1st અને 2nd રેન્ક પ્રાપ્ત થયેલ છે. આ પ્રોજેક્ટ નોડલ ઓફિસર પ્રોફેસર આકાશ મોદીના નેતૃત્વ હેઠળ સિવિલ અને ઇલેક્ટ્રિકલ વિભાગના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ પ્રિયા ચૌધરી, ભાર્ગવ રાઠોડ અને ઓમપ્રકાશ રાઠોડ એ સખત મહેનત કરેલ હતી જેમાં પિલુદરા ગામ માટે ઘણી ડિઝાઇન જેવી કે પ્રાથમિક શાળા, ગામનો મુખ્ય દરવાજો, ગામનો માસ્ટર પ્લાન સામેલ છે.
આ માટે સિવિલ ડીપાર્ટમેન્ટ કેમ્પસના ટ્રસ્ટીશ્રી, પ્રિન્સિપાલશ્રી ડૉ. જી. આર. કુલકર્ણી, પૂર્વ પ્રિન્સિપાલશ્રી ડૉ. કે. જી. મહેતા, GTU, દર્શનાબેન VY વિભાગ અને કોલેજના દરેક સ્ટાફનો આભાર વ્યક્ત કરે છે.
