Delhi University Admissions 2014

Kindly read the below mentioned points that will
solve most of your queries related to Delhi
University Admissions 2014.

1. Application Dates : Application starts from 2nd
June and ends on 16th June.

2. Cut-off Dates : 1st Cut-off List June 24th and
5th Cut-off July 8th.

3. The Cut-offs have been reduced to 5 for general
category.

4. The percentage is calculated from Best of 4
Subjects.

5. Now vocational subjects can also be included in
the best of 4. But there will be 10% deduction of
maximum marks that can be obtained in the vocational subject.

6. The applications will be available both online
and offline , also students applying through ECA
and Sports Quota will have to apply separately in
the particular colleges.

7. There will be uniform additional criteria this
year for students applying to courses which they
have not studied in 12th. Eg: A Science student
applying for Commerce will need 2% higher in
aggregate of best of four than the required cut-off.

8.There is no entrance test for courses like English
Hons.

9. The decision on conducting BMS CET this year is
announced. No written test this year.

10. Students can apply to any number of colleges
and courses, but a student is not eligible for
admissions in a course or a particular college if he/she has not applied for it although is still meeting the cut-off.
