*MCPS Students Excel at Indian Talent Olympiad 2025-26*
Olympiads provide students with an invaluable opportunity to extend learning beyond the classroom. They encourage conceptual understanding, enhance logical reasoning, and develop the ability to solve problems within stipulated time frames.
Students of Classes I to V participated in the Indian Talent Olympiad 2025-26 with great enthusiasm and demonstrated commendable performance.
We are proud to announce the following achievements:
Vihaan Gupta of Class III has brought laurels to the school by securing State Rank 4 along with a cash prize of ₹1,000, Class Topper Rank 1, and a Gold Medal.
Urvish of Class II has been conferred with the Excellence Award and has secured State Rank 11.
In addition, several students were awarded Gold Medals for securing Class Topper Rank 1, Silver Medals for Class Topper Rank 2, and Bronze Medals for Class Topper Rank 3.
The winners were felicitated by our respected Principal, Ms. Veenu Agarwal, who appreciated their diligence and encouraged all students to participate in such academic competitions with renewed enthusiasm and determination.

📚 International Book Day Celebration at Meerut City Public School 📖
Meerut City Public School celebrated International Book Day on April 23rd,2026 with great sensitivity, vigour, and enthusiasm, fostering a deep love for reading among students.
A special D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything And Read) activity was conducted, where students were provided with a wide range of engaging and enriching books. At the announcement made by the Principal Ms.Veenu Agarwal, all activities across the campus came to a pause, and students immersed themselves in reading, embracing the joy of books in a calm and focused environment.
To enhance the experience, soothing background music accompanied the session, creating a serene and sensory atmosphere. This allowed students not only to enjoy reading but also to relax mentally, making the activity both enjoyable and rejuvenating.
The initiative aimed at instilling strong reading habits and encouraging students to make the most of the school’s well-equipped library. The event truly reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing thoughtful, informed, and imaginative learners.

🌍 Earth Day Celebration at Meerut City Public School on 22nd April 2026 🌱
OUR P0WER, OUR PLANET
Meerut City Public School marked Earth Day with great enthusiasm and a strong message of environmental responsibility. Teachers dressed in green and blue along , students wore badges promoting “Save Power, Save Earth.”
A special assembly featured a meaningful skit highlighting the urgent need to protect our planet, followed by an Earth Day pledge, oath, and anthem.
The celebration continued with an insightful session by environmentalist Mr. Sawan Kanaujia and his team, who sensitized students about water conservation and sustainable living.
Principal Ms. Veenu Agarwal addressed the gathering, inspiring students to take responsible steps towards a greener future. She also felicitated the guest and his team as a token of appreciation.

A grand felicitation ceremony was organized in MCPS on April 18, 2026 to honour the meritorious students of grade 10 for their outstanding academic achievements. The event was filled with pride and joy as students were recognized for their hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Beautiful trophies and bouquets were given to the achievers as a mark of their academic success, adding to the grandeur of the occasion. Parents were specially invited to be a part of this memorable event, and refreshments were served to them, making the celebration even more delightful. Teachers applauded the consistent efforts of the students and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence. *Meerut City Public School* proudly organized a Heritage Visit on April 17th for the students of Class X, under the aegis of the school’s Heritage Club. The educational journey included visits to the iconic President House, the National Museum, and the historic Red Fort, offering students a wonderful opportunity to explore and connect with India’s rich cultural legacy.
Throughout the visit, students actively engaged in learning by observing, documenting key facts, and making notes on important historical aspects. The trip served as a perfect blend of education and exploration, enabling them to deepen their understanding of India’s glorious past beyond the classroom.
The primary objective of this initiative was to enhance students’ knowledge of Indian history and instill a sense of appreciation and pride for our heritage.
