17th August of every year gives us the opportunity to pay our own tribute and commemorate the Founder of Oyster Public School, Late Sh. Shyam Sunder Gupta who tirelessly worked for his mission in making a better world to live in. Wish you a very Happy Birthday!
Founder's day is the best day to share about his journey and struggles.
He had a job in Faridabad in a factory as a Quality Inspector. He left that job when his father passed away. Without losing any hope, he started with Manu Public School at his own residence. He continued his passion of teaching and sooner the school started to run in double shifts because the strength increased. As years passed by, he thought of taking his passion at a larger scale with increasing demand of English medium school, so started with Oyster Public School in 1994 (swipe and see the opening ceremony invitation card). Its inauguration is backed up by a list of struggles on personal and professional front.

One lesson he always taught us to:
𝐓𝐫𝐲: Try for better future
𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐞: True with your work
𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭: Trust in God

Once again a very happy birthday to you. You are our real hero.

Must watch the whole video.
Mr. Sulabh Saran (Inspector, Uttar Pradesh), one true COVID-19 warrior shares a small message on this day. Very well said that we all are Indians before belonging to any religion. And we all must do our bit for the society and the country by staying in any field.
We thank him for taking out his time and sharing his views on this day. And also for all that he does. Duty of the policemen never stops, be it on some festival or even in these pandemic times. We all thank them and salute them.

Once again wishing you all Happy Independence Day.

Wishing you all 'Happy Independence Day'. Working towards quality education, we all hope to continue our aim further.

While, we all are still at our homes, we all miss our students and celebrating this day together with them. So here's sharing (swipe and see) a throwback pic with you all.
Picture 3 is of our Founder, Late Sh. Shyam Sunder Gupta. We remember him on this day and thank him for all the work he has done. It is because of his belief and firm determination that despite all the challenges he never stopped working for the society. And we have come a long way if we look back from where we started. We miss all the speech and kind words he always used to say to the children.

Much insightful session. Thank you for your time.
It was the first ever zoom session for our students. And what better than having it on Life Skills on the World Youth Skills Day. The session was attended by the faculty members, students and some external members.
Some important life skills covered by our speaker was about; communication skills, Empathy, self confidence, learning skills (enhancing), self awareness and behavioural skills.
This session on life skills was really helpful for our children. And has many pro's for the youth like: Enhancing self esteem and self confidence, self control, coping up with stress and emotions, making appropriate decisions.

While it's important to prepare students for the coursework and careers of the future.
Life Skills - to be able to adapt to new situations, use failures as a learning milestone, to be able to make good decisions and solve problems in their academic, as well as their personal lives, should also play a critical role in a well rounded and comprehensive education.

Oyster Public School is organising an online session on Life Skills for classes VI to IX. And what a better day other than World Youth Skills Day on 15th July2020.

The speaker for the session Dogra is a professional social worker and life skill education trainer with 3 years of experience in the development sector.

The session is OPEN FOR ALL. Link for joining the session . https://undp.zoom.us/j/99708281658?pwd=SDJiYkIxZ01XS2JTT2dxOXpTSkxLUT09

For registrations message us or email us at [email protected]
