🇮🇳 India’s Journey from 1857 to Operation Sindoor 🇮🇳
On 9 May 2026, the students of Class XI along with Senior Coordinator Ms. Aarti Bansal attended a special and inspiring programme at Meerut Race Course based on the theme “India’s Journey from 1857 to Operation Sindoor.”
The programme highlighted the spirit of patriotism, sacrifice, bravery and dedication shown by Indian freedom fighters and soldiers throughout different phases of history. The event began with references to the First War of Independence of 1857 by renowned radiologist Dr. Amit Pathak, who shared valuable insights into India’s glorious past.
A proud and motivational moment for everyone was the address by Param Vir Chakra awardee Subedar Yogendra Singh Yadav, who narrated his courageous experiences from the 1999 Kargil War, especially the heroic mission at Tiger Hill. His inspiring words filled the audience with immense pride and patriotism. 🇮🇳✨
The programme also featured a spectacular Pipe Band performance, which added energy and patriotic fervour to the event. 🎺🥁
A meaningful skit showcased the vital role of the Indian Army in rescue and casualty evacuation operations, explaining how injured soldiers are shifted to relief points during combat situations. The presentation reflected the courage, discipline and humanitarian spirit of the Indian Armed Forces.
Overall, it was a highly motivational and enriching experience for the students, encouraging patriotic enthusiasm, respect, and gratitude towards the brave soldiers and freedom fighters of our nation.
