Before the commencement of the summer vacation, the teachers of Delhi Public School Meerut, enjoyed a delightful outing together at Shoprix Mall. The highlight of the day was watching a movie, which provided everyone with a refreshing break from their busy schedules.

The outing offered an excellent opportunity for teachers to relax, interact, and strengthen their bonds outside the school environment. Filled with laughter, fun conversations, and joyful moments, the experience brought everyone closer together.

The movie was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and the time spent together created beautiful memories that will be cherished for a long time. Such gatherings not only help in rejuvenating the mind but also foster a spirit of teamwork and camaraderie among colleagues.

It was truly a wonderful way to unwind and celebrate together before heading into the vacation break.

Workshop on Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) and National Curriculum Framework (NCF)

Delhi Public School, Meerut, organized a workshop on Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) on 29 May 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., for its teaching faculty. The session was conducted by the esteemed resource persons Ms. Chanchal Mittal and Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Rathi.

The guests were warmly welcomed and presented with saplings as a token of gratitude. A total of 61 teachers participated in the workshop.

The resource persons shared valuable insights on strengthening foundational learning, implementing competency-based education, and adopting learner-centric teaching practices in alignment with the objectives of NEP 2020 and the NCF. The interactive session encouraged active participation and meaningful discussions among the teachers.

The workshop proved to be highly informative and enriching, equipping educators with practical strategies to enhance student learning and holistic development.

DPSM-MUN 2.0 | Day 2: Successful Conclusion of the Two-Day Model United Nations Conference

The second and final day of DPSM-MUN 2.0 at Delhi Public School Meerut concluded successfully on 23 May 2026, marking the culmination of two enriching days of diplomacy, debate, and collaborative learning. Delegates continued committee proceedings with great confidence and professionalism, demonstrating exceptional leadership, research aptitude, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Throughout the day, participants engaged in intensive debates, policy drafting, and resolution-making sessions addressing a wide range of global and national issues. The discussions reflected the delegates’ awareness, analytical abilities, and spirit of teamwork.

Representatives from various committees expressed their gratitude to the Executive Board and the organizing team for the seamless ex*****on of the conference. Conference Secretary Yashika Mahalwar extended sincere thanks to Principal Mr. Manish Seksaria, Vice Principal Dr. Varsha Bhardwaj, and the event coordinators for their constant guidance and support throughout the event.

Outstanding delegates across different committees were honoured with certificates and mementos in recognition of their exemplary performances. The Closing Ceremony was filled with enthusiasm and appreciation as students celebrated their achievements, experiences, and learnings from the conference.

Vice Principal Dr. Varsha Bhardwaj expressed gratitude to the school management, participating schools, and students for contributing to the grand success of the programme. The school’s Pro Vice Chairperson Mrs. Shashi Singh, Director Ms. Shweta Singh, and Ms. Anumeha Singh described the conference as a meaningful initiative towards nurturing future leaders and responsible global citizens. School Manager Mr. Atul Kumar Singh also appreciated the successful organization and ex*****on of the event.

DPSM-MUN 2.0 — Day 1: Where Diplomacy Meets Determination

DPSM-MUN 2.0 commenced on a remarkable note with the enthusiastic participation of 215+ delegates from various prestigious schools across Meerut.

Day 1 began with an inspiring Opening Ceremony, setting the tone for two days of diplomacy, collaboration, and intellectual exchange. The delegates then proceeded for committee briefing sessions, where they were introduced to their respective agendas and parliamentary procedures before engaging in insightful discussions on diverse global issues.

The day concluded on a vibrant and memorable note with the much-awaited Socials, providing delegates an opportunity to interact, network, and celebrate the spirit of MUN beyond committee sessions.

Smriti Diwas Special Assembly
In Reverent Memory of Our Beloved Founder Chairman Sir, Shri M. P. Singh Ji

Delhi Public School, Meerut, solemnly observed Smriti Diwas to pay heartfelt tribute to its revered Founder Chairman, Shri M. P. Singh Ji, whose visionary leadership, unwavering dedication to education, and commitment to nation-building continue to inspire generations.

The special assembly commenced with words of remembrance, followed by the sacred prayer:

“असतो मा सद्गमय । तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय । मृत्योर्मा अमृतं गमय ॥”

Lead us from untruth to truth, from darkness to light, and from mortality to immortality.

A solemn floral tribute was offered by the entire school community, as students, teachers, and staff paid homage by offering flower petals, expressing their deep respect and gratitude to the visionary who laid the foundation of this esteemed institution.

The assembly featured a thought-provoking message, an inspiring speech, a soulful choir presentation, heart-touching Hindi poems, and an audio-visual presentation showcasing the life, achievements, and enduring legacy of Shri M. P. Singh Ji.

Each presentation reflected the profound impact of Founder Chairman Sir’s vision and values, which continue to illuminate the path of every student and educator.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Mr. Manish Seksaria reminded the students that true leaders live forever through the ideals they leave behind. He expressed heartfelt gratitude and reaffirmed the school’s commitment to carrying forward the noble vision of Shri M. P. Singh Ji, ensuring that his inspiring legacy continues to guide generations to come.

Vice Principal Dr. Varsha Bhardwaj encouraged everyone to uphold the values of discipline, integrity, compassion, and excellence that Shri M. P. Singh Ji embodied throughout his life.

Smriti Diwas was observed with deep reverence, gratitude, and a renewed commitment to uphold the ideals of our beloved Founder Chairman.
