POETRY RECITATION AND COMPOSITION COMPETITION
THEME: PATRIOTISM
Grades: I-V

"Poetry is when an emotion has found its thoughts and the thoughts have found words."

The students of grades I-V enthusiastically participated in the competition as they got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. The competition inspired the young poets and composers to come forward and showcase their talent. The students came up with different poems on the theme "Patriotism" and recited and composed them with great fondness and zeal for the country. They enjoyed the perfection of expression, thoughts, emotions, rhythm and music of words.

Students were judged on the parameters like confidence, voice modulation, memorization and overall presentation.

Young poets and composers enthralled the judges with articulation and memory skills while reciting poems. It was a splendid opportunity for them to gain confidence through stage exposure. Everyone was delighted after seeing their pleasing performances.

Art and craft activities for kids enhance the interest of the children and exploit their artistic potential. Through art and craft, children learn to value and appreciate artefacts and images across cultures. They get the opportunity of expressing themselves in a positive manner.
With this backdrop, Wisdom Global School conducted the - Free Hand Painting Activity for the Early Years students. The little learners performed many activities like bubble painting, hand printing ,thumb printing, balloon printing, etc. and created a beautiful Nature Scene.
Self expression of the children was portrayed well during this activity with too much fun.

Indian Air Force Day 2022 marks the 90th anniversary of the IAF.

Wisdom Global School, Pallavpuram, celebrated the 90th Indian Air Force day on 8th October 2022 with the guest of the day, Squadron leader (Retd.) Mr.Ksh*tij Kumar .
Our guest sensitized our students towards the endless efforts put in by our defence forces. He also shared valuable information regarding different armed forces,how to join them, different aircrafts, different professions in these armed forces etc. The students also put up their queries and showed great enthusiasm and grandeur. It was a highly enlightening and fruitful session for our student agency.
The Principal, Dr. Baljeet Kaur Sethi also shared her valuable words with the students and displayed gratitude towards the great efforts that the guest and the students have put in making this occasion successful.

We are blessed to be born in a country of real heroes who are always there to protect us and keep us safe….

The week long Summer Camp organised by Wisdom Global School Pallavpuram ended on Saturday 28.05.2022. Students of Early Years and Grades 1 to 5 participated in the weeklong summer camp activities.The closing ceremony was held alongwith MasterChef activity for the students of Grades 1 to 8 and Show & Tell competition for early years. Students were offered a plethora of activities which included art & craft, yoga, aerobics, dance, music, culinary skills and fun races. Students showcased their creativity through an exhibition wherein they displayed craft items and variety of sumptuous cuisines. The students enjoyed the summer camp as it encouraged them to recognise their abilities and aptitude. All the students participated enthusiastically in the camp and were excited to be a part of it. After a week long fun and frolic at Wisdom Global School, the children said goodbye to their friends and teachers and excitedly left for their summer break.

Day 2 of Summer Camp at Wisdom Global School was full of zest and energy as the Early Years took part in a variety of fun races whereas students of Grades 1 to 5 got their high energy dose of Aerobics and Zumba. Yoga class was also held for balancing mind body and soul. And calligraphy class for balancing the art of writing. Students also participated in art and craft class.The Summer Camp is becoming exciting with each passing day.

Here We Begin!
The first day of the summer camp at Wisdom Global School, Pallavaram turned out to be quite a surprise for everyone as the weather got a break from the scorching heat and the students got a break from their heavy school bags and notebooks. The summer camp 2022, at Wisdom Global School was declared open today. The students of Grades Pre-Nursery to 5 participated in the summer camp and were super thrilled,excited and enthusiastic. The prime focus of the summer camp is to keep the children engaged and active and also to ensure that they are having fun and learning together. The school was abuzz with activities like yoga,aerobics, dance, calligraphy, art and craft, doodle and clay modelling.
The children left the campus with beaming faces and looked curious about the activities planned for the next day.
Fun, Frolic & Learning ahead....

It was a perfect day to celebrate the season of “King of Fruits” at Wisdom Global School Pallavpuram.
A Fun- filled learning opportunity in the form of a mango party was organised, where our Wisdomites were clad in the shades of yellow and green. Children actively participated in a ‘Mango 🥭 Sorting Activity’ where they had to sort out Raw and Ready to eat mangoes followed by Rhymes and dancing sessions. Students relished the variety of dishes such as mango shake, juice, frooti and sliced mangoes. The mentors briefed the students about the king of fruits, not only its taste and fleshy yellow colour but also, the nutrients it offers like- vitamin-C and vitamin-A. This fibrous fruit boosts our digestive system and prevents from getting heat- stroke. They were also told about the various forms of its consumption such as- mango shake, ice cream, jam, pickle,aam panna, mango waffers, mango candy, chutney etc.
Overall, it was a delectable day for the little ones.
