Śākuntalaṃ is a 90 minutes movie in saṃskṛtam with English sub-titles. We have woven lines of Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada & Awadhi (wherever suited) in the movie to convey our love for Indian languages. Through music, dance, yoga, temple architecture and textiles, we have paid respects to our Vedic civilization in the movie. Three National Award winners were a part of the crew and many veterans in the cast. Do watch, comment & review!

Are you an expert in pada-vākya-mīmāṁsā-shastra, and looking for an interdisciplinary research work experience?

Do you want to apply the śābdabodha concepts present in the Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) to the computational work which helps in building the tools to the common Sanskrit learners?

Then, you are the right person for the following positions.

We are looking for three passionate researchers (02 Master’s level and 01 Post-PhD level) for our consortium project - Sanskrit Knowledge Accessor funded by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India. These positions will give an opportunity to work with the scholars from IITs, IIIT, Central Universities and other prominent institutions across the country.

These are full-time temporary positions at the Department of Liberal Arts, Humanities and Social Scienes (DLHS), Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Bengaluru campus. There is a decent remuneration for all the positions as per the ministry’s norms. English knowledge is desirable, but not mandatory. Please note - this is not an online or part-time job.
