আজ আমাদের সবার প্রিয় বাংলা বিভাগের বরিষ্ঠা অধ্যাপিকা ড. অনিতা সাহা (দি') মহাশয়ার কর্মজীবনের শেষ দিন, অবসর গ্রহণের দিন। তাঁর নিষ্ঠা, ভালোবাসা ও পথপ্রদর্শন আমাদের হৃদয়ে চিরকাল অমলিন থাকবে। খুব ভালো থাকবেন দিদি, আনন্দে থাকবেন, সুস্থ থাকবেন—আপনার নতুন জীবনের প্রতিটি দিন হোক আলোয় ভরা। 🙏

স্মৃতির আঙিনায় বলাকা: ২৪তম পুনর্মিলন উৎসব ও রজত জয়ন্তী বর্ষের সূচনা 🌸
রাজা নরেন্দ্রলাল খান মহিলা মহাবিদ্যালয় (স্বশাসিত)-এর প্রাক্তনী সংগঠন "বলাকা"-র উদ্যোগে এক বর্ণাঢ্য পুনর্মিলন উৎসব পালিত হলো আজ, ২৯শে মার্চ, ২০২৬। এই আনন্দঘন দিনটি থেকেই শুরু হলো সংগঠনের পথচলার ২৫তম বর্ষ তথা রজত জয়ন্তী বর্ষ।

অনুষ্ঠানের কিছু বিশেষ মুহূর্ত:
উপস্থিতি: অনুষ্ঠানে সভাপতিত্ব করেন মহাবিদ্যালয়ের অধ্যক্ষা তথা 'বলাকা'-র সভানেত্রী ও প্রাক্তনী ডঃ স্বপ্না ঘোড়ই।

স্মৃতির মণিকোঠায়: অনুষ্ঠানের প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন পাহাড়ীপুর বালিকা বিদ্যালয়ের প্রাক্তন শিক্ষিকা শ্রীমতী অরুণা সৎপথী। উল্লেখ্য, তিনি এই মহাবিদ্যালয়ের প্রথম ব্যাচের ছাত্রী এবং কলেজের প্রতিষ্ঠালগ্নে প্রথম দিন থেকেই যুক্ত ছিলেন। তাঁর উপস্থিতিতে অনুষ্ঠান এক অন্য মাত্রা পায়।

সম্মানিত অতিথি: বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন প্রাক্তনী শ্রীমতী তপতী বসু ও শ্রীমতী অঞ্জনা পাল। এছাড়াও উপস্থিত ছিলেন অধ্যাপিকা অনিতা সাহা, অধ্যাপিকা মিতা বিশ্বাস, অধ্যাপিকা রশ্মি মুখার্জী, কাকলি মৌলিক, মঞ্জুরী সাহু, অধ্যাপিকা গার্গী মেদ্যা, অধ্যাপিকা অপর্ণিতা ভট্টাচার্য্য, রীতা বেরা প্রমুখ বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তিবর্গ।

আলোচনা ও চিন্তন: পণ্য-বিজ্ঞাপনে 'Gender Bias' বা লিঙ্গ বৈষম্য বিষয়ে একটি মনোজ্ঞ ও সারগর্ভ বক্তব্য পেশ করেন প্রাক্তনী ডঃ অপর্ণিতা ভট্টাচার্য্য।

সাংস্কৃতিক ছোঁয়া: প্রায় ১৫০ জন বর্তমান ও প্রাক্তন ছাত্রীর স্বতঃস্ফূর্ত অংশগ্রহণে মধ্যাহ্নভোজের পরবর্তী পর্ব হয়ে উঠেছিল মুখরিত। গান, নাচ এবং শ্রুতিনাটকের মাধ্যমে প্রাক্তনীরা ফিরে গিয়েছিলেন তাঁদের ফেলে আসা সোনালী দিনগুলোতে।

স্মৃতি আর বর্তমানের মেলবন্ধনে 'বলাকা'-র এই ২৪তম পুনর্মিলন উৎসব মহাবিদ্যালয়ের ইতিহাসে আরও একটি স্মরণীয় দিন হিসেবে খোদাই হয়ে রইল।

৪র্থ বোটানিক্যাল কংগ্রেস শুরু হয়েছে মেদিনীপুরে রাজা নরেন্দ্রলাল খান মহিলা মহাবিদ্যালয় (স্বশাসিত), চলবে আগামী শনিবার পর্যন্ত। বোটানিক্যাল সোসাইটি অব বেঙ্গল ও ভারত সরকারের অনুসন্ধান জাতীয় গবেষণা ফাউন্ডেশন (এএনআরএফ) এর আর্থিক সহায়তায় । বিদ্যাসাগর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক দীপক কুমার কর কংগ্রেসের উদ্বোধন করেন, এবং রায়গঞ্জ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক অর্ণব সেন প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন। পশ্চিমবঙ্গ দূষণ নিয়ন্ত্রণ পর্ষদের চেয়ারম্যান ডঃ কল্যাণ রুদ্র; আইসিএমআর– ন্যাশনাল ইনস্টিটিউট অব ট্র্যাডিশনাল মেডিসিন (এনআইটিএম)-এর বিজ্ঞানী ডঃ দেবপ্রসাদ চট্টোপাধ্যায়; বোটানিক্যাল সার্ভে অব ইন্ডিয়ার বিজ্ঞানী ডঃ সুধাংশু শেখর দাশ, বোটানিক্যাল সোসাইটি অব বেঙ্গলের সভাপতি অধ্যাপক প্রবীর কুমার সাহা; সম্পাদক তথা কলকাতা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের উদ্ভিদবিদ্যা বিভাগের প্রধান অধ্যাপক শান্তনু পাল, কলেজের অধ্যক্ষ ডঃ স্বপ্না ঘোড়াই ও আহ্বায়ক ডঃ রশ্মি মুখার্জী প্রমুখ উপস্থিত ছিলেন। এই অনুষ্ঠানে উদ্ভিদবিদ্যা গবেষণায় ও পরিবেশের উপর জোর দেওয়া হয় সুস্থিতি উন্নয়নে। প্রায় শতাধিক ছাত্র-ছাত্রীরা ও আশি জন গবেষক অংশগ্রহণ করেন।
