Our PhD scholar Deepa Chaturvedi and Joydeb Mukherjee PhD in Chemical Engineering has published exciting work on a skin-on-chip model paired with in silico drug transport validation in Microfluidics and Nanofluidics.

This study shows how microfluidics + smart simulations can create human relevant, animal free testing platforms for drugs, cosmetics, and chemicals.

Congratulations to our Ph.D. alumnus, Dr. Ranjeet Desai on being granted a Patent (No. 5733613) titled "A method of reducing protein aggregates during the purification of a protein" by the Patent Office, Government of India.

This recognition celebrates years of research excellence and innovation emerging from the Nanomedicine Research Group. The patented method offers a novel approach to improving protein purification efficiency a crucial step in biopharmaceutical manufacturing and process optimization.

At the 𝗡𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽, education is not confined to classrooms it evolves at the bench, in discussions, through experiments, and in collaboration.

Our PI Dr. Prajakta Dandekar Jain had the privilege to present our work on the 3D Co-Culture Spheroid model for lung cancer 🫁 drug development at in Varanasi!

This model mimics the real tumor microenvironment helping decode drug resistance, metastasis, and more for better, safer therapies.

We are proud to share that our PhD. scholar has been awarded the FeMS Empowerment Award (Q3 2025) for her exceptional contributions to mass spectrometry! 🎊🎉
