Composed by our mentor Guru Uma Dogra ji on the 65th birth anniversary of the legendary Jaipur Gharana maestro, Pt. Durga Lal ji, and lovingly dedicated to her guru.

Student of Kalavriksh Kathak Kendra, Tejaswini Singh, performed this at Manjari, Mumbai under Guru Geetanjali Sharma, organised by Uma Dogra School of Kathak.

This composition was created by our grand Guru Pandita Uma Dogra Ji on the 65th birth anniversary of Pandit Durga Lal Ji, and dedicated to her guru with deep reverence.

The tradition flows from Pandit Durga Lal Ji, to Guru Pandita Uma Dogra Ji, and continues through Guru Geetanjali Sharma and Kalavriksh Kathak Kendra, who are inspiring and nurturing countless students in the art of Kathak.

Performing in front of a revered guru and so many rasikas is a blessing not everyone gets. Watching her pour her heart into every step made me feel so proud as her guru.
