National Centre for Sustainable Aquaculture
▪ National Centre for Sustainable Aquaculture (NaCSA) is an extension arm of Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA), Ministry of Commerce & Industry Govt. of India.
▪ The objectives of NaCSA are to encourage and uplift the small and marginal farmers through organization of clusters and maintaining Best Management Practices in shrimp culture.
▪ The primary advantage of cluster approach to shrimp farming is that it contributes to substantial reduction in cost of production.
▪ It also enables participating farmers to organize:
◦ The schedule of farm operations,
◦ Quality seed procurement,
◦ Simultaneous stocking,

Bhartiya Prakritik Krishi Padhati (BPKP)
The Union Minister of Agriculture has provided useful information regarding the Bhartiya Prakritik Krishi Padhati (BPKP).

🧠Natural farming is promoted as BPKP under a centrally sponsored scheme- Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana (PKVY).
🧠The scheme mainly emphasizes on the exclusion of all synthetic chemical inputs and promotes on-farm biomass recycling.
🧠It stresses biomass mulching; use of cow dung-urine formulations; plant-based preparations and time to time working of soil for aeration.
🧠Under BPKP, financial assistance of Rs 12200/ha for 3 years is provided for cluster formation, capacity building, and continuous handholding by trained personnel, certification and residue analysis.

One District One Focus Product Scheme
The One District One Focus Product (ODOFP) programme cover products of agriculture and allied sectors for 728 districts of the country.

🧠The ODOFP programme cover products of agriculture and allied sectors for 728 districts of the country.
🧠The products have been identified from agricultural, horticultural, animal, poultry, milk, fisheries, aquaculture, marine sectors across the country.
🧠These identified products will be supported under the PM-FME scheme of the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, which provides incentives to promoters and micro-enterprises
🧠This scheme is being implemented for a period of five years from 2020-21 to 2024-25.
🧠The scheme adopts One District One Product (ODOP) approach to reap the benefits of scale in terms of procurement of inputs, availing common services and marketing of products.
About ODOP
🧠The ODOP scheme aims to identify one product per district based on the potential and strength of a district and national priorities.
🧠A cluster for that product will be developed in the district and market linkage will be provided for that.
🧠It is operationally merged with ‘Districts as Export Hub’ initiative implemented by the Director-General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Department of Commerce.
🧠Under the initial phase of the ODOP programme, 106 Products have been identified from 103 districts across 27 States.

Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana
🧠Under the scheme it is proposed to distribute 9.7 Lakh MT cleaned whole Chana to States/UTs for distribution to all beneficiary households under the National Food Security Act, 2013 (NFSA).
🧠Thus it would 1kg per month free of cost under for the next five months -July to November 2020.
🧠All expenses on the extended PMGKAY are to be borne by the Central Government.
🧠About 19.4 crore households would be covered under the Scheme.
Benefits of the scheme
🧠Extension of the scheme is in line with the commitments of the GOI to allow anybody, especially any poor family, to suffer on account of non-availability of food grains due to disruption during next five months.
🧠Free distribution of whole Chana will also ensure adequate availability of protein to all the above-mentioned individuals during these five months

What is e-RUPI?
🧠e RUPI is a cashless tool that can be used for digital payments.
🧠It can be taken as an e-voucher that is based on a QR code or a SMS string that would be directly delivered to the beneficiary's phone.
🧠This would be a contact less method thus.
🧠e-RUPI connects the sponsors with the beneficiaries without any actual contact.
🧠There is no contact between the e-service providers and the beneficiaries too.
🧠The service is prepaid in nature as it ensures that the payment is made to the service provider after the transaction is completed.
🧠As it is prepaid no intermediary is required and the payment to the service provider is hassle free.
🧠It is a one time payment mechanism and it allows the users to redeem the voucher without a card or any digital payment apps or internet banking.
🧠The e Vouchers can also be leveraged by the private sectors as a part of their employee welfare and corporate social responsibility. The information has been provided in the statement released by the PM Office.
